    All my clients have their eyelashes washed before an eyelash lift treatment. That being said, if the glue is being used on multiple people I recommend you use disposable brushes to keep your glue hygienically safe. Also note if you are using saran wrap to help process the lift, you may need to reduce the processing time, you need to adjust according to the lash health, strength and curl.

    Awesome tips! Cant wait to try these on my next lift! I was curious why we were taught to wash off the lashes at the end of the treatment with a wet (water) 4x4, but then advise the client not to get their lashes wet for 24 hours -this makes more sense!!

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lillyspelman2479 For standard shields I gently lift the eyelid back (kind of near the crease) to help lift the lid back and see the lash line better, then I can get my shield close to the lash line and it seems to remove the creases in the eyelid (if you know what i mean) making this skin more smoother to attach to. Hopefully that makes sense? There are newer shields out now that don't require glue and I've tried them, they do work without glue, look up katya_vinog on insta

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Timing is based on the manufacturers instructions, they can differ, some have longer times for solution 1 opposed to solution 2 then other kits leave solution 1 on longer than the 2nd so I can’t give you general timing. Let’s say though if the solution said 12 mins for a solution and the lashes were medium thickness I might do 10 mins. Tbh it’s about getting used to your kits solutions and following their guide

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thank you, oh no sorry to hear about your sore eyelid. This does happen regularly with my clients (the glue sticking on) so I use a little bit of the keratin oil to help dislodge the remaining glue. I believe the oil helps dissolve the glue, alternatively eye make up remover but be careful to avoid any product on the lashes for 24 hours as usual

    Beautiful video! What if the corners of the shaping rod don’t want to stick to the inner and outer corners well ? I’m having all kinds of trouble with that . And is it best to go darker with the lash tint so that it still pops as it fades ? Thank you ! Love your accent ❤

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used to have that issue on some eye shapes until I switched to silicone glue free style shields and rods like ellebana make, they are soo much better and worth switching to, alternatively you'd need to use more glue in that area or tape them down with a bit of micropore tape. With regards to the tint my go-to is blue black, funnily enough it is deeper and darker than plain black, which looks flat. Hope that helps you!

    Hi! Great tips! Ty. When using the Small for the straight thick lashes - how much longer do you leave the solution on without “frying” the lashes?
    Oh and what do you recommend for the shortest time in between lash curl appointments?

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Heya, the longest time depends on the kits recommendations. They can be different, my current kit says 12 for solution one but my old one was 8. Shortest time between lifts is 6 weeks

    Sold!!!! New sub as of NOW!!! I never knew when or how to tint my lashes so i didnt have to o it two days apart!!!!
    YOU just showed me!!!
    If I got this right, AFTER the Neutralizer has been on for the allotted amount of time, THEN I can tint my lashes without taking anything else off or washing anything….right?? I THINK I understood it that way? I HOPE I AM RIGHT as I am doing this tomorrow LOL.❤❤❤❤

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You got it. Just wipe off excess solution two and then tint lashes. Once tinted you can use a damp cotton pad to wipe off excess of you like, I may have said in this to avoid water but you can rinse after the tint without effecting the lift, I just recommend no water, mascara or oil after completing the final clean (which you are doing to ensure no solution or tint is left in the lashes). Hope that helps :)

      @@galaxydreaming oh yes Doll!!! 100% IT HELPS!!! I have felt like SOMETHING just was NOT “Clicking” in my brain and then Voila! I SEE your Video, I HEAR you TALK and it alllll came together for me!!
      TA DA!!! Thank you SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!
      I was actually JUST on your store looking to see if you ship to chilly 🇨🇦!!! THEN I “ADD’d” myself and ended up on the Gold Facial!!! LOL! It does not take much to get me to look at something in the flash of a ….ohhhhh…..pretty…..sparkles….gold sparkles…. LOL!!! AND off I GO!!!
      I HOPE you ship to Canada but if not, sniff….sniff…..I’ll live. I won’t live as BEAUTIFULLY but i will live nonetheless LOL! (Is it just pure gold leaf you are using along with a Serum I presume?).
      I shall go back and continue perusing your store in the hopes of seeing that YOU DO SHIP TO CANADA!!
      And WOW did you do a GREAT job of teaching every little step and the WHY to what you do as well….vs….some other channels who just teach and have a “JSUT DO IT BECAUSE I SAID THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY!” Without any REASON……I am not alone in needing to know WHY. Yes sometimes it is obvious but your voice and cadence is just so calming I actually absorbed the information instead of finding my shoulders at my ears by the end of the video LOL!!! You are amazing! Do not stop!!
      I have pretty much mastered the lash lift and now the tint part will be easy peasy but my next bucket list is to take a Microblading course. And THEN tattoo makeup. A NATURAL look and NOT a BARBIE DOLL or …erhem…..a “lady of the evening” look LOL!!! I do love seeing lip liner done PROPERLY as well as lower eye liner AND My friend is an EMT (I am a Nurse Practitioner - ER and ICU) and she teaches Microblading. MANY MANY years ago I had a “Marilyn Piercing” done on my upper lip and there is still a small “hole”….it was an 18 g he used to pierce it and had I known I would have punched him but alas, hindsight is 20/20…..so, I showed her the wee “divot” that no one but ME really sees and I am NOT the person who wears so much makeup I can just throw some spackle on it and fill the micro divot but….it does bother me. SO….one day when she was touching up my brows, she said, “Why don’t you let me do a Beauty mark there instead because then you could just cover it up with concealer if it isn’t a “beauty mark kind of day”…..
      I thought “what a great idea”….it took less than 2 seconds and I had a beauty mark! I got compliments on it left and right. I guess she did a great job…..and you KNOW something looks STELLAR when a female gives another female a compliment! And that is what I still get!! OK then!!! I guess I DO like it……and I SHOULD because we are going on Year THREE and it has not faded one iota!!! Can you imagine?? Crazy right? It does look completely natural and I do love it but WHO would have thought it would last THREE plus years?????
      And to top it off, it was THREE plus years ago that she did my eyebrows and liner…..STILL going strong and no “feathering” or bleeding to it at all!!!
      So, I figured since I mastered the Human anatomy and can pretty much put it back together without any “leftover parts” which is more than I can say for anything from IKEA….then I must be doing well…..now….onto something fun and new….so why not…..microblading, tattoo makeup (LIGHT)makeup, lip liner (barely there) and some blush and liner and brows. Never have to step into a Boots or Shoppers Drug Mart again LOL!!!
      So, THANK YOU SO MUCH once again!!! I always find THE BEST people to teach me the right way to do things. It is a gift I swear. I am so grateful I found you tonight!!!
      I have subbed and added you to instant notify no matter when!
      I look forward to anything you find that helps us all learn new tips and tricks that only someone with experience knows. My Daddy always taught me that “The secret to success is learning what NOT to do…..sadly, THAT knowledge comes with experience in actually doing it incorrectly at least ONCE. If you do it incorrectly TWICE then I would have to have you ask yourself what aren’t you paying attention to!”. He was a wise wise man and I miss him every day. I could write a book on “Daddy-isms” as he always had something to share that always stuck in my head. ♥️
      Thank you for doing what you do for us. It takes a lot of work to put these vids together and make them make sense. You are doing a great job. Please don’t stop!!!
      Now….back to shopping your store!!! ♥️💋🫶🏻

    I have a question, now i did lvl for my lashes yesterday and the process took 45 mins, but unfortunately my lashes barely lifted :/, so after watching your video i believe that my lashes are thick and down, so is it possible to do it again today, and what is the longist processing time for it.

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If you have already tried processing them for the full time you now risk over processing your lashes if you were to do it again with the same times within 6 weeks of the original lift. The only corrective lifts I have done is straight after when a lift has not worked and I’ve put the solution 2 on for a bit longer but kept it at the roots (never to the tips). It’s easy to fry your lashes, you may be best to wait

    I have long lashes and so I used pad size L, they were lifted very good and from a frontal glance, they looked great, from the profile view though, they were L shaped.. I only applied the solutions to the base line but I would like to get a round natural curl instead of an L shape one.. what could I've done wrong?

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You may not of bought up the solution to the actually rounded part of the shield, you have to avoid the tips tho so that is why you need to choose a shield that your lashes sit half way up in order to get the rounded curl. Hope that makes sense x

      @@elizabethsiliezar2350 m shield is generally a noticeable lift, if your lashes aren’t curling it’s more likely your processing times of the solutions or using too much glue to stick the lashes back to the shield which creates a barrier for the solution to work. • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Ah yeah it’s annoying when that happens, normally 6-8 weeks later, I have re lifted and drastically reduced the times when a lift has an area that hasn’t lifted as well but I stick to the base nowhere near the tips or they will fry. It’s risky tbh and only emergency or if I need to relax lashes if lift too much

    My lashes are long, flat and very strong. i did the lash lift in a beauty center but i didn't get any curvature. now i'm trying to make them at home but i don't know which pads to use. in my kit there is the size L which is very chubby, the M2, the M1 and the S which is the one with the least curve and flatter. which one do you recommend to use?

    • @galaxydreaming
      @galaxydreaming  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What I do is I put the shield on without sticking it yet and push the lashes back so that they are 1/2 way up the shield, that helps me choose, I tend to like m1 and m2, m2 does well on average length lashes for a gentle curl, m1 is more lifted. I only use m and s when I have thick stubborn lashes

    • @galaxydreaming

      For me it’s about how far up the shields the lashes go without hitting the dent in the shield and also how far up you are going to take the solution. I’ve done small on long and short lashes and they have looked great. The teardrop shield grows out the nicest. Anything angular like katya vinog style doesn’t grow out as nice as much but great for bulbous type of eyes

      Hi, have you tried different shaped eye pads or cutting placing them further down and sticking paper tape over the lashes onto the pads, just make sure you remove the tape first before removing the eyepads at the end as the lashes are smooshed between the eyepad and tape and removing in one piece could pull out the lashes

      Same process as lifting except you don’t use as shield and you brush them downwards to relax them. Timing usually is less as the lashes are processed. If the tips are bent backwards you may have lifted the ends, next time don’t take solution to tips if you did. I use m1 shield on hooded eyes, it’s usually the most lifted without touching hoods
