There is something fantastic about the 8bit sound that is comforting and peaceful to me. Must be from growing up seeing every video game that existed from the beginning. So much we have today came from one simple concept, "Do what you can with what you have." You can always build bigger and better later, enjoy today. And today I am really enjoying your music Sir. Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much for these kind words, makes me really happy! Yes, the 8bit sound is definitely something special. And (also one that grew up on it) what I liked about that era is exactly that - you have these set limits and you try to make as much as possible out of it, bending the rules.
+Kai Pernau Thanks! Delta (another Hubbard C64 song) is also available on the channel - but more will come, so if you subscribe you won't miss anything :)
More is coming, probably have four or five planned already! In the meantime, check out the other videos on the channel - I guess you might like the "Delta" one, if you haven't already.
+Jowe Derp This is as clean as it can be. The PO-14 feeds audio and sync into PO-28. The PO-28 mixes incoming and it's own audio and the output goes (in this case) to the built-in soundcard of an old MacBook Pro. The audio is then saved to disk. No EQ, compresson or editing, just the pure stuff :)
Thank you! I rather make new videos that tutorials on old ones though, but can explain briefly: • PO-28 runs one pattern containing the drum beat and the repeating bleep sequence. • PO-14 has in total seven patterns with bass lines. Six of them is first arranged in a 12 bar order. In the mid part I arrange one and the seventh in a two bar order, and then in the last part four of then in a new four bar part. • I play live on the PO-28 over this, sometimes selecting a different sound

Amazing! Great solo in the end.

Thanks, great to hear that! One of my favourites too. So simple, yet so good song.

That was awesome. Just got a PO-20 and just waiting on my PO-28 to arrive. I hope I can make something half as good as that performance :)
+Terrible Beat Thanks! And good luck on your new gadgets :)
WOW! Amazing. You rock the POs.
Thank you dprezzz! More will come!
Can't wait. Maybe SANXION? I know it is probably hard, i tried to do it in screamTracker.
+dprezzz Yes, that one is on my list. Problem is, the POs actually can't really handle the fast octave switching that is needed in that speed :)
haha aaah good old memory's pretty awesome playing cool!
damn... that's amazing!
Thanks, Riccardo!

8 BIT FOREVERRR !!!
Yayy! :)
hi, could you please create a tutorial explaining how you managed to do that? Very nice work
Thank you! I rather make new videos that tutorials on old ones though, but can explain briefly:

• PO-14 has in total seven patterns with bass lines. Six of them is first arranged in a 12 bar order. In the mid part I arrange one and the seventh in a two bar order, and then in the last part four of then in a new four bar part.

Awesome, but to be fair, it doesn't come close to SID, but how could it...
Really good job =)
Yup, nothing will compete with the real thing :) Thanks!
Oooh men! Shadow on the wall?
Not sure what you mean here - the Mike Oldfield song?
Now do Bionic Commando ;)
Hehe, let's see - there's a lot of stuff upcoming in the following weeks!
Has PO-28 fixed scale?
+smiljanicn Yes! C-major and an additional G#.
So the new robot is like a piano
+SoloC852 Well, a very limited piano - and only if you like C major and A minor... :)
cheap monday make denim jeans no?
Yup, that too :)
