I saw you there We started walking in lines The sea was wild It left a taste in my mouth And I don’t know why We started falling apart So ease my mind With your dystopian hands And I’m still there And I don’t know why We started falling apart I saw you change In our dandelion grave And I’m still there I’m still there… I saw you there We started walking in lines The sea was wild It left a taste in my mouth And I’m still there Standing there You started walking away I saw you You started walking away The sea was wild
I wish it was both "falling in love" in the first verse, and "falling apart" in the latter. It would have made better sense, and give an element of over-time sequential dissolve within the lyrics...
Glad that you've just discovered them rather than not knowing them at all. Fyi, if you want to listen to more modern 80s inspired bands, listen to Drab Majesty and Choir Boy.
So much love for this song ....While listening this band, makes me happy and feeling love and peace in my melancholic moments, so beautifully. Thank you! Some people need their time to notice/understand a gem. Profundity and Spirit, Baby! Wonderful soul-food and creation.
I first heard of this song 2 years ago. It was the first ever post punk/new wave music i had ever heard and it changed my life. Lots of love to Holygram. It's a bummer to know that they have separated, but their music lives on.
I just don't wanna start how I love this because I'll never end-) Heard this yesterday at the concert afterplay for the first time and can't stop listening! Wow, just so absolutely me.
My god there's a huge amount of hidden gems from the 2010's -both bands and songs, this is yet another one. Not sure where I was in the previous decade, obviously I wasn't there to begin with!
Saw you guys in Chicago last night with Vnv nation. First time hearing of you ever or hearing anything you released was live last night. And I fell in love. Got a new fan, you guys are incredible.
I saw you there
We started walking in lines
The sea was wild
It left a taste in my mouth
And I don’t know why
We started falling apart
So ease my mind
With your dystopian hands
And I’m still there
And I don’t know why
We started falling apart
I saw you change
In our dandelion grave
And I’m still there
I’m still there…
I saw you there
We started walking in lines
The sea was wild
It left a taste in my mouth
And I’m still there
Standing there
You started walking away
I saw you
You started walking away
The sea was wild
@GoodKid60 That is what I thought, but I pulled those lyrics from official Bandcamp page.
@@noughiphiet Erm. (And our) "day began grey" or maybe "day became grey"
@GoodKid60 Yeah I don't think it's that
I wish it was both "falling in love" in the first verse, and "falling apart" in the latter. It would have made better sense, and give an element of over-time sequential dissolve within the lyrics...
Thank you+++
This song leaves me feeling weirdly nostalgic, elated, and encredibly melancholic at the same time. I don't know why but I adore it anyways.
Sounds like my favorite kind of music
The best music to me is dark but uplifting at the same time 🙂
You feeling this because this sound Remember years 80, vanguarda underground 80.
It's the chords and frequencies that affect your brain👌

Me too! I feel like I've discovered a forgotten 4AD band.
This video is even better than I imagined.
Like the song, vague, hazy, leaves a feeling of empty sadness ...
This needs 1 billion likes ! I'm still here ...hoping for a new album this is a great piece
The band doesn't exist anymore. They separate on 2019 - 2020. I know because I was hoping new music as well 😢

I cant stop listening this
Seriously... I’ve been listening to the whole album on repeat for about two weeks now since I first heard it.
Dark sad emotional spiritual landscapes turned into sound, food for the SOUL through the ears, a perfect combination between music and lyrics...
