He races so much that his face has become aerodynamic
U killed me 😭😭😂😂
But it does not seem when he takes off his helmet
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I thought the exact same ;-) nice one
This comment made my day
Beast mode. He actually looks like a fictional superhero.
This is a guy who doesn't skip leg day.
or arm day
More like leg week
Dude! This monster didnt even skip neck day
When your legs are so strong your body reacts by growing more from your shoulders.
Nope. Track cyclists consciously exercise their entire body. You are as strong as your weakest link
@@warschaumitdemfahrrad2857 Little steroids here and there help with that too
@@warschaumitdemfahrrad2857 working the uppercut body out (volume) helps swimmers for the aerodynamics. I guess it could be true also for this kind of even where every little improvement counts
@@kw4704 especially the massive neck size and shoulders and fore arms. That's the stuff that will grow when you boost the steroids even if you don't work it - and also the parts that cyclists would never work in isolation :P
@@gwen9642 nope. Most of the weirdos in the distance gang are lean machines. Sprint gang is the squad that spends their time getting built.
-brought to you by spring gang
Damn he looks bionic
What a monster
Maybe also with a monster's dick.

Oh my goodness

Same when i leave work Friday
He is out of the gate.. That's gold af
That's me when trying to escape from the school security.
😂😂😂😂
Racing the clock is by far the most exciting to watch. The closer your time is to the one you are competing with, the better in my
opinion. There’s nothing more climactic than the final straight to the finish
61.851 km/h for the last 750m!!
I barely do that in freefall ;)
@@Jeppelelle Work on your aerodynamics a bit and it will work. 😁
He's 60km/h average
I can do that easily... downhill
He needs to work on those legs.
huh
Those legs can break a normal bike chain easily.
Bruuuuhhhh it's a joke!
Bruh shush
Is it Hoy or Hulk? Man that's impressive!
He is massive
Doped now has cancer haha
In awe at the size of this lad
He looks like one of those vector characters of large tech companies.
Good enough for 16th place in 2018.
Granted there will be difference in track but it shows the evolution of the sport.
Tom Walters Correct, of the sport, not the man. One wonders what Jesse Owens could do with 2018 Nike Olympic spikes, made specifically for his gait and ergonomics, on a modern sprint track (Owens ran on dirt).
Bike technology has progressed so quickly that new records, while not meaningless, always point toward the machinery, not the man. Unless that man is someone who wins over and over again.
@. high level athlete here :) trust me if you wanted to take Peds, there were plenty available. The difference isn't the effectiveness of the PEDs but who detectable it is. PEDs have been used in sport since the 1960s hence why the stricter drug testing policies
Bikes and aerodynamics have improved since !
@. Yoh man we are talking of 1998 to 2004 best year for pharma :) Festina, Armstrong...Dr Ferrari
@@andreacolaianni6305 sorry but if you have no idea.. pls stop talking and STFU !
I'll get it... Nearly every Guy who does No sports at all thinks that EVERY Athlete on this planet is on Doping 🤦🏼♂️ specially Cyclist and Bodybuilder 🙄
But sorry.. there are indeed people with the right genetics for "next level physics" !
And believe it or not... You can do a f****ing LOT if you will and train HARD and with passion for it ❗🤷🏼♂️
he is huge.
incredible physique and power!
He looks like "the Tick" superhero! All blue, muscular. Yup that's him.
😂😂😂😂😂
My Hero 💕 Chris Hoy 💕... Simply the best 😍
Did those thighs ever appear in your dreams?
I knew him when he first moved down to live in Manchester . Absolutely lovely man . By the way at his best he was hitting 2500 Watts.
what a fucking unit this guy is
Amazing phyzique !
Good pharma. Hard work. Winner!!
That helmet is what I need in the bedroom!
Who actually gave a thumbs down? Idiots. This man is a legend.
pure sprinter
Straight BEAST!!!
he looks badass
loooks like a fucking monster
It's very aerodynamic
Sir! Chris Hoy
Hoy is a fucking beast hahaha
when my girl says her parents are out of town:
What a machine Francois Pervis must’ve been to ride a 56.303! Just incredible.
Did Pervis break Hoy's record for the fastest time?
@@powerant1914 Hoy never held the world record. Pervis broke Max Levy’s world record at altitude in 2013..
@@markbendall2460
Wow amazing! That's why he's my best sprint cyclist ever... But who do you think will win if they ever had a chance to face each other? I mean hoy was hard to beat too....
@@powerant1914 Hoy was one of the greatest sprinters ever. Look at all his Olympic and WC gold medals. Per is was just faster over 1000 metres.
Meant to say Pervis.
At the pinnacle of doping in cycling this is surely fully natty.
Idk if you're aware of this but people have gone even faster than this now.
Yeah of course if someone is good at something in cycling then they are obviously cheating , honestly just stfu
But soccer playerd, MMA fighter and whstever you call sport are clean right?
@JacksonM 21110 Many Olympic sprinters have been busted for doping. There are a ton of anabolic steroids that can be cycled and hard to detect.
@JacksonM 21110 lol you’re kidding. Yeah Having a higher hematocrit won’t help him here, but if he’s on GH and test, his ability to produce power would go through the roof. Don’t kid yourself, the dudes juiced. Still incredible what he accomplished
seriously strong upper body too. omg
That's more than 1500 watts
😎
When you receive an order on deliveroo
Another powerhouse of the sprinters
what a specimen
BEAST!
Masterfull!
He looks like a superhero with all that bulk...
He's a dream
most sprinters are
dudes a monster
Es jiren!!!
Looks like Superman on 2 wheels all he needs is a cape!
Look how much body mass he has lost back than and now
Yes its called cutting down from being a full time athlete to someone who just keeps fit
Wow lakas
uuuhhh APENAS ERA UN CHAMACO!!!
That acceleration
100% dope
Dude looking like he's bouta beat up mega mind

He didnt skip leg day
Dios mío está hiper mamadísimo!
How many watts on average for 1 km do you think ? 700-800 ? Or am I out by a long way ??
Damn. I want that helmet
como assim??? parece ésquilu
looks clean tho
when you are bigger then your helmet
*than
TH-cam Curates Content, algorithm is a lie - fack off
How many watts was being put down for this 1 minute effort?
At least 800W, probably closer to 900W maybe even more
@ Surely a lot more than that? I can put down 400 watts for a one minute effort and my legs are tiny toothpicks compared to his to which I never win any races, not even close.
@@oldtwinsna8347 I'm not an expert on the topic but yeah he probably pushes way more than what I said. I can sprint for 30 at 800w, this guy is probably double my weight and double my fitness (if not more) so I guess his effort is well over a thousand watts
world-class track sprinters are at about 12w/kg on minute efforts, which for Hoy probably meant 4-digit power at this specific afternoon ride.
1100 watts
What's brand of his trackcycle at that time? Plz talk to me anyone
0:04 Dude looks like a superhuman!
He looks like Superman.
Everybody gangsta till sonic comes in
Of course the coach is wearing a kilt 😂
The Welsh coach might as well be eating leeks 😂
Is it just me or does he cut the final corner?
Is he wearing golf gloves?
hilarious!
He is bodybuilder and sometime he can do cycling .....
Look at those legs!!!
Captain UK 🇬🇧
How many watts sustained did he do?
The aliens want to abduct him,so they can have some of his DNA

Are those golf gloves?
36 mph! holy shit
How’s he do in a fondo tho.
Quien gusta quedadas?
What do we call this game
this is like a speedrun?
Ivar ?
What was the average speed on that?
58.32 km/h
Real cyclist closest to that Ion Gottlich character.
Maan, I never knew Conan the Barbarian can cycle....
와 숨막힌다......
So brutal
his neck is wider than his helmet
these dudes are beefy
Steak piece
does anybody know the wattage he pulls?
+2500w at 25-27w/kg: www.uci.org/news/2019/track-sprinting-a-question-of-watts
2500 peak. Avg for the 1k probably somewhere around 1100-1300W.
Frozone got buff.
He looks like the red alien Goku fight.
would it not be faster if his arms were closer together?
I think its wider to produce the most power when layer into the pedals holding nothing back..Long distance be more effective closer together.
They spent ton of money in wind tunnel and thermo modeling so youre seeing the most ideal position.
@@oldtwinsna8347 Nah, I actually did some google research and found out that the so called "superman position" is banned.
@@fopperer yeah and it's actually slower than the now modern "praying mantis" position
But that positions are for Time trial / Persuit Bikes , not for the pure short distance Sprint Bikes
