Had all the 250f’s, the 21 Yamaha really turns well from apex out better than the others. Best trait of the bike is suspension and it’s so good it’s a reason to go blue
Totally agree with you! You can put that bike wherever you want it to go. There was nothing I could find to complain about. Bike is just all around awesome!
Ive been lacing up wheels for mountain bikes and bmx for over 30 years. The 3 cross spoke lacing helps keep a bicycle wheel from flexing as much as the 2 cross lace spokes. I am sure it helps moto as well.
Kris, I'm 66 yrs. old vet novice. I've been on two strokes since 1973. My current bike is a 2014 yz 250 smoker. I just bought a 2024 yz250f white knight for the first time. My question is will I like it better than my two stroke. I'm five ten buck 54 in weight. Please give advice how to set it up. It takes me 4-5 laps to get my speed up. Thank you. DoUmoto819.
Terry from Christchurch New Zealand, love ma yamiez I've had 32 New yzfs. I'm 52 race vet mx and couple of Xcountry's. I used to by a 450 and 250 each year till 2017 when I got an 250 fx for trail and the 250f for mx. I was always faster for longer on the 250 ill never go back on a 450, just thrash da 250 yamiez are solid, just do ua oil every couple hours max.
With so many people getting into and returning to the sport, I'd like to see how these new bikes compare with older bikes.. just given the motorcycle markets available these days
keefer family is the best way to get honest content and info on all things moto. also little keefer is looking really good on blue cru right now lol teqnique looks really good. idk maybe a switch on hoirizon? :0
No doubt that a 450 is a bit much. I bought a 2019 kx450 and it was ok, but compared to the 250f it is a fat boat that wears you out in 2 laps. The 250f I can go many more laps without getting worn out.
@@yamumsasscrack3723 my thoughts were that on the 450 i wouldn't have to be as aggressive, which I thought might equal less fatigue, but that is not the case. The 250f for some reason I would consider being more like a 125 2 stroke because you do have to push harder, but nothing like a 125 2stroke kind or aggression. It's probably just because the classes used to be 125- 250 instead of now 250-450.. But that comparison isn't the same as how they ride. Crap the new 250f's get the same power as 250 2strokes, but are easy to ride. Anyways, ya I think I need to remember the times have changed. ✌️
The bike just stock is awesome! It really doesn’t need anything nor aftermarket exhaust. Mapping all depends how you ride. Stock is find. But you can do linear where it stretches out longer. If you like hit go to hard hitting ..
Rode a yz125 for 5 years, finally wanted to step up and move to a 250f. Can't make a decision between a yz or a Ktm. I think currently the yz250f is undoubtedly the best in the game right now, but I've never ridden a steel frame and the quality of the KTM's is top notch along with yamaha

Can you guys try those different link arms on the rear suspension? Would like to know if they work and why
Yup. Totally
real Talk with Keefer
wouldn't the bars back more make the bike seem to not corner well?
Great presentation. will you guys be reviewing the yz250x?
The suspension looked like it was working great!!!
Yep this is the bike for me. 22 yr old 212lb 5’7 I’m sure this will work for me .

I hope your son is feeling okay Kris. I'm sure he had one hell of a headache.
hello everyone, just wondering what's the best mapping for this machine? and with FMF full system?

More After Dark!
Do a yz125x! That would be great!
Can’t you just put the spring forks on the Ktm
Ya you can order a KYB conversion kit. Or buy a Yamaha and not waste more money..😁

Ya you should definitely go blue. A lot better than the KTM..
Lil keefer has some tekkaz……✊
It looks like it fits your son good. He was ripping on it
Lol I haven't actually ridden in 10 years
