That's great ! Now, the people who said, " wait until he gets to North America where the competition is better then we'll see how good he is" will have to eat their words ! Good job ! You fit right in
Congrats. Playing for any Brick team is a great accomplishment. Anyone that says this kid isn’t good by Canadian standards is just flat out wrong. I’ve watched many youth GTHL kids and this kid has skills that are on par or better. That doesn’t necessarily translate into him being a great player, but his skills are there.
It melts my heart to see you cry…I was actually surprised Torataro didn’t make the team,I personally think that he definitely has the ability and potential to get into the team. I think that him not getting in the team is definitely not because of his performance. But overall,I’m so happy to see you enjoying your time in North America, I can see that you have done your best in the tryout. Continue to enjoy your trip😀😀
Thank you for your kind and heartfelt words. It heals us. He will try again next year. During this trip to the United States, we found a lot to do. It was a worthwhile trip. 😀
I'm not surprised at all....don't get he wrong he definitely deserves to be on the team , but then there wouldn't be room for the coaches son, the 3 assistant coaches son's, the trainers son and 2 of the teams sponsors son's. More politics in Minor hockey then there is in the US Senate
He asian that's why. If he was russian, they would of picked him same day. Clearly, his hardwork got snubbed cause some white man playing politics. If his last name was Johnson & Johnson lols Bye Canada/felicia. 😂
What a hustle, kid’s growing up to be a star already. I just ❤ Jr. Red Wings. Favorite NHL team and I would love to see them kiddos! My sister plays for Lady Ducks and I play upper league ( Jr Red Wings) but older. More content like this?
His skills level is really good a at his age, but there are many many good young hockey players in north America for sure, and boys here play very fast and aggressively. We live in Canada, and my son started playing hockey at four and he is seven now. My son loves Torataro very much and watched all his videos。 Keep it up, Torataro, 虎太郎,加油!
JUST AS I EXPECTED, all the morons were hating and saying this kid wasn't good enough to play in North America & guess what? He isn't "good enough", he's MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better than "good enough". Kid was EASILY the best player on the ice. I don't understand how a coach could cut a kid bc his positioning isn't as good as he'd like. Skill development is MUCH harder to teach than positioning. Absolutely amazing performance & happy to see your son gaining exposure for his amazing skills. I hope your son doesn't feel discouraged because he was easily the best player on the ice. There's an NHL player who worked almost exclusively on skill development until peewees.....his name is Auston Matthews. I can't wait to see your son crush it in the Quebec PeeWee tournament in a couple of years. P.S. This is a testament to the importance of SKILL DEVELOPMENT & the almost total worthlessness of game play for young kids.
"the total worthlessness of game play".....WOW!. You clearly do not, have any clue about hockey. The entire purpose of skill development is to help your game play..skating around pylons isn't the same as playing in a game...just ask Kucherov.
wait. what were the exact reasons why he did not make the team. His skating, stick handling and size are equal if not better than most kids there. The video clearly shows he has better skills than most of those other kids. Unless all those kids did not make the team either. Was it the language barrier? Does he understand positioning and gameplay instructions? I can see based on communication at this age would be critical to play as a team. My child has played against Little Caesars, Belle tire, etc.....and this kid has similar skills as all those other kids. If budget allows, I would actually have your japanese 2012 team play against Michigan teams...you be surprised since I bet they would do very well.
As you say, we recognize that positioning was his problem. We also think he should improve his tactics and defenses. We will work with him on these for a year, including learning English.
@@torataroI really like the channel and I’m the same age and I recognized that his skill levels are very similar to mine but his gameplay is very good better than almost any I’ve seen on my team and in my league but I get language barriers are a problem because our languages are different but he definitely should’ve made the team
I dunno about Brick teams, but my understanding is that most teams are already picked before the tryouts. The coaches already know which of their players are most productive. Newcomers are trying out for maybe 2-3 open slots. You have to be good AND lucky to make the team
WTF? This doesn't even make sense. What do you have to do to make the team, levitate and fly around the ice like superman? That kid is solid. I wonder who's mediocre son got his spot.
One thing is No franchise team supports players who do the social media thing big. Its against the rules...you either choose Franchise hockey or Youutube. Also there are tons of faster and accurate and team dedicated players. ..who dont have Youutube channels and are much better. I will rather go Teams ...to hell with the social media thing.

He is saying. After all North America is the best! He can play a lot of hockey. 😊
He do more then just fit right, he’s very talented
He didn't make the team though.....who is eating their words?

Your words "he needs to be in NA" resonate with us. I think it's exactly what you say. We want to make it happen.
I’m surprised he didn’t get in he’s insane probably one of the best players on the team

@@user-dl3pe3nr1s 100% right. I was a victim of this bs when I was a kid unfortunately.
Very skilled kid, it looks like he did great during the game too. Don't give up bud !
This was his first challenge. He will do his best next year. Thank you for your encouragement.
how is it possible he didnt pass? he is most amazing youth hockey player i ever seen, keep it up!

dude ur crazy i play trips for a top 20 team in NA and a year older than u but it looks like u can easily compete with kids i play with and against

It seems he was dominating opponents, I don't get why they cut him
I’d be surprised if he doesn’t make the team
He was sad only on the day of the results announcement, but from the next day he is enjoying hockey again. Please look at his growth in the future. 😃
Me last year I wish I was on a travel real-time year I MADE AAA MY FIRST TRAVEL TEAM!!!!
Can't believe he didn't make the team
I mean he's shown everything you would want in a player. Skating, stickhandling, good defense, plays aggressive, hockey IQ
WTF? This doesn't even make sense. What do you have to do to make the team, levitate and fly around the ice like superman? That kid is solid. I wonder who's mediocre son got his spot.
Thank you for your comment. He has recovered and will be visiting Toronto, Latvia and Sweden this year. 😃
