Really? Only 2? I loved it so much, I bought 6 of them! I love Festool, they are the best, and you can tell that by how expensive they are! I love watching Jory's videos because he always uses Festool Products, and he knows that everyone who follows his work can afford nothing but the best! That's why Jory is the best! Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to buy a Ferrari, in fact, I'm going to buy 3 of them!

A 625.00 router that has a cool ratchet thingie that my 20 year old Porter Cable doesn't? It just doesn't compute. If I had Festool money I'd just pay someone to do my woodworking!
I’d say try one and see if it still doesn’t compute. It’s like saying your Yaris does the same thing a Porsche does.... you’re not wrong, it gets you places but I’d say it would be hard to drive around in your Yaris after you’ve driven a Porsche:)
@@JoryBrighamDesign you’re spot on. It’s easy to tell if someone owns any Festool tools or not by their comments. I know a guy that made similar comments, bought a Festool dust extractor ,
And liked it so much he bought pretty much everything Festool makes. That guy wrote this comment 😂
@@timblack33 Exactly! I bought into the Festool line a few months ago and I'm hooked. The dust extraction is amazing. I still wear dust masks, of course, but 90% of the dust that I used to get is gone. :) I love the track saw and MFT table!
Nice but it costs $500 more than my current router that can do the same work.

I said the same thing. Then I used one. How much do you value your time? Some (not all) of that extra cost is the number of accessories it comes with. It's a pleasure to use, saves a lot of hassle. It would be the second-to-last Festool that I have that I would sell (after the Track Saw).
The price reflects the quality of the machine I'm a site carpenter in uk I own a couple if festool tools track saw and domino machine , and there worth everypenny they are built to extreme precision everything would be festool if I worked on the bench!

I tested the OF1400 against the Mikita D handle 2 1/4 HP router, I bought the Makita, much better control, it has a super smooth powerful motor, and coincidentally it works with Makita track, which is identical to the Festool track, but cheaper, go figure, did not like top heavy feel of Festool handles
