As a necromancer main, the essences sound nice, but as they say, "The Devil is in the details." What will the range of the mage lasers be? How many mages can you realistically have up at the same time? Can you keep the new bone armor up on your summons constantly? What are the cooldowns of all these skills? Etc.
Without knowing much, if durations and cd on bone armor are similar to previous, you might manage to maintain it 'eternally' with benefitial durations, cd reductions, and/or awakening (if cd reduction). As for how many mages, if similarly to previous itterations, they 'share' the skeleton cap with the regular skeleton, so if you don't use any skellies, the mages you could summon and maintain 6 (more if you usue eternal gear, that might increase the numbers to whooping 10 skeletal summons, I already saw this with normal skeletons, +1 around me, and maximum skeletal summons to 7, instead of 6).
mage laser range is as far as other normal mage skill range, and can hit mutiple mob can have up to 6 mage (no eternal gear) i yet to get the bone armor ess for pant and armor, so cant verify it yet
Actually, I find stationary mages can work to your advantage when you circle farm. I drop a mage on a mob, and run to the next mob. I don't wait. I just let the dropped mage deal with the mob while I'm gone. And then I drop another mage on the new mob. With freedom and devotion, I can drop like 3 mages. And once they are fully deployed, I drop golem and mages. So I can circle farm about 5-6 mobs and pause briefly on each to mainly launch a summons. Anyways, great content. I wish you were on my server so that I can ask for your help in person. :( But the contents of these videos are helpful enough. Take care!
I wonder.... There's a old mage shoulder that increase ur damage with number mage active... Now that with the unlimited golem, ur mage can actuve up to 6, then with that old shoulder u r getting 57% damage increase. Now the question is the damage increase also work on the summon? If it also increase the summon damage then it actually better than the new shoulder for mage? Hope u can test out.
Done the testing it's actually really better than the new shoulder. Also tried the long forgotten 6 grim ripple build😊. The grim ripple can follow u like the new mage.
I wish I had time to farm all essences for all classes to share cool builds. It takes such a long time to farm them though 🤷 I will def share more sader videos in the future 🙏

Imagine coupling that golem helmet and MH with the REAPERS instead, bigger HP pool, big wide frontal arc damage, imagine 6x of them around, with a golem around (IMO one of the best builds for Gauntlets). Bone armor extras on pants (Crit chance), shoulder (Crit dmg, if not any other for mages, since the many off hands can be very tough for enemies already with imunities from chest). But remember that the necro himself would still need some extra defense, since the new bone armor seems to only affect the summons (maybe even extra ones like echoing shade ones). You can actually have imunity charges from windloft set, which already give movement speed and 20% damage, on 2 first bonus.
Pets, IMO, seem to be the best shot for f2p and low spender. Those and runes (sell first, specially the higher quality ones, then try using copies). As for pets, always get the free 3 weekly contracts, use them, keep any aberrants you get from converting 3 regular, any regular with 3+ yellow skills, send away to get 2+ conversion stones, so you use with 3x aberrants to get one with at least 1 legendary skill, which would sell for a lot more. Rinse and repeat. Pets tend to sell slower but you can get bigger quality ones (funtional traits, savior and etc) if you try selling the aberrant ones instead of just trying to sell any regular you get right away.

You're forgetting a tiny detail, that imunity to damage and CC only works for the summons, so if you kill the necro, the summons might vanish too (as always, unless they use the big skeleton spirit along, which doesn't disappear right after the necro is killed). So if in pvp, the necro should use some kind of defensive for him/herself, like mountebank or windloft sets, shielding gems, savior on pet, extra life skill, etc.
It think its sad that other classes gets so much nice stuff (this update seems only to be necro), but monks... Still worst class and probably still will be in 2025 😢😂
atleast they got a nice buff for shield of zen, no stutter in movement for the cast animation anymore... Plus some decent essences, and buff to balance in moderation for farming
I'm currently on monk, and I don't see the issues people've been speaking about it. Maybe because I don't pvp much/at all, and that's where the 'cries' are from. But pvewise, Elder rift (fast, aura stuff and etc), Helliquary (one of the bigger primary attackers, on par with barb and bk as I tested), dungeons (fast and huge damage in one build, also with defensive along).
Will need survivability. So that means, Wraithform, Borrowed Time, Bone Armor and then either the golem, skeleton mages or skeletons. Will that be better than wf, bt, darkcurse and corpse lance is the question. Unfortunately, it will likely not be better. I hope it will be viable though. Could find a way of fighting to make it work just as good.
