Beautiful, thanks for sharing. Brought a tear of joy to my eye, you reminded me of my mom. I miss her so, I'll see her again on the other side. God bless you.
@gleniceglover8502 I am a year in on my guitar journey. I will work on learning this song that you demonstrated so nicely. I'm working on identifying chords and changing from one to the next. It is a challenge for sure, but I am doing it.
This was so lovely !! Been in a rut and haven't been practicing my guitar in a few months . Id love to be able to play so effortlessly like you one day Ms. Glover . You've inspired me to start practicing again, thank you !! A blessed musician you are 😇
Jesus lord have mercy this was beautiful. You're one of the few people here who are so calm that I just get it, nothing feels too hard or complicated, there's no ego or over the top, you just love what you do and you love sharing it with us. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!
Hi I immediately subscribed your chord structure and control and playability captured my heart ❤️ nobody does it better then you thanks 🙏 for this tutorial great job. 👏
The way Ms.Glenice broke down the riff chord by chord w/o skipping a beat...she knows that fretboard like the back of her hand! Don't get me started on the syrupy sweet tone of the guitar😥 And that bright cheesy grin at the end, she KNEW she did that!
UGH the tone of your guitar is GORGEOUS. Teaching us the chords before performing on top of it? You are casually doing something really special here, and I'm so happy I stumbled across it. Keep going, you've struck gold with this
This came up in my recommended videos after my annual Christmas viewing of Patti Labelle's iconic "where are my background singers WOO" 1996 performance of the song. Didn't expect to be moved to tears, this is so so good. Merry Christmas!
Overtones of Jimi’s use of minor 7th to replace a major chord. John Maher used that beautifully on “I’m Gonna Find Another You” Well done Madam….very tasteful!
I didn't know I needed this in my life. What a breath of fresh air. Straight to the point. Doesn't spoon feed you information you've heard a million times. Absolutely brilliant! Subbed and liked!
A beautiful rendition, so many chords, have a blessed Christmas. I don't know which algorithm sent this tutorial to my YT feed, but I'm glad it did. Cheers
That could not have been more beautiful! Thank you. This inspired me to pick mine back up. It's been a while and you just plugged it back in for me. Merry Christmas!
The way you teach makes me feel more comfortable exploring barred chords! Thank you for bringing such a warm and comforting presence and beautiful tones/chords ❤️
Merry Christmas, Mrs Glenice, to you and you family! Thank you for sharing this beautiful music and your mad skills with us. ❤🎄 You certainly Rock! Very inspiring!!
Praise the LORD! I did not realize that this is a tutorial! I know many of the chords. However, the melodic embellishments may take a little bit of time and practice. Your picking and strumming are amazing. This is an encouragement to me to keep playing guitar ( and to have fun doing it ) as I await the replacement to my Casio WK-200 ( keyboard is my first love ). Thanks for sharing your gift
Black lady with a guitar and a smooth voice! Instant like and subscribe! Also, never heard the song (I'm brazilian). But I really enjoyed and of course I'm gonna learn it!
That is awesome. Just stumbled across this video. I can tell you are inspired by Jimi Hendrix. Some of those chord voicings are remenescent of Wind Cries Mary.
OKKKKKK AUNTIE!!! I see you with the clean CRISP changes. i just want a nice cold glass of rhat guitar tone. Merry Chrrist and Happy Kwanzaa from Memphis
TH-cam algorithm for the win.

Yes! The algorithm can be a little strange in terms of what it recommends, but this suggestion was a great one.

The algorithm has blessed us. That was lovely! Thanks for the lesson.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm BLOWN away by Glenice's beauty, soul, and talent. SO much Hendrix in her playing (which is the highest complement I can give)
You are most kind. Thanks so much!
This is classic soul and R&B playing, which Hendrix learned on the circuit. So it’s not Hendrix in her playing, but the soul of R&B they share.
@@WesFanMan Can you recommend some artists from this era of music to learn from? That was some beautiful playing.
