I'm from one of those "Holy Roller" Sanctified Churches and this beat would have had the mothers and the Elders shaking their heads and going "Not up in here with that devil beat" and fancy guitar strummin but we had a Gospel Group in the 70's and it was more accepted because Andre Crouch was popular by then. still funny now that I look back, they used to tell us, "Son don't tear down a fence until you know why someone put it there" those saints meant Heaven all the way, now it takes God with a flashlight to find somebody serious about salvation.

What people tend to forget, is the FUTURE of any Church is with the Young People...as St. Katherine Drexel (She was the foundress of a Catholic Religious Nun Order that taught Black and Native Americans) and she once said this..."We Must Attract Them By Joy!" She was speaking of attracting more Young Women into the Congregation of which she founded, but I'm using her words to say this, "We must attract more Young People into the Church with the same kind of Joy!" I disagree, the attraction is the Love of Jesus, which is everlasting, not mere joy and fun which is short term
