Kind of funny how I ended up with one of these. It's a great tool BTW. My dad started ordering put together furniture from Amazon and Wayfair. Usually with metric allen head bolts. I was looking for a kit that had all the bits and also ratcheted. I found the Dewalt DWHT70265 kit. I replaced most of the bits with Vessel Japanese bits. After a while I didn't like the T handle and I found this Felo. It also fits perfectly in the case so now this kit is even more amazing.
No shit! This man has every version of every tool. It’s mind blowing! Where does he keep it all!? Does he own a Hardware store, or Pawnshop/Secondhand store? How many divorces has he been through? What percentage of these tools are actually used in the field? So many questions!?!? *still a fan of the content. I’ve definitely purchased a handful of tools based on his reviews.
Great review, thanks for the comparison! This Felo ratchet had some units with a failure on the mechanism that jump or stuck the ratchet permanently. I don't know if it's just a manufacture problem or a project failure. Be aware with the amount of torque.
I’ve had 2 of 3 with failed ratchets. And the 3rd was a gift with a failed ratchet, so I gave them mine that was working. So disappointing. Was my favorite tool ever. Tired of buying and sending back. I really hope they come out with an updated version- this has potential to be the best ratcheting screwdriver ever.
I can’t wait for someone to make a multi-angle extension for impact drills. If they could make it small enough then you’d always be able to just keep it on your impact.
Dewalt and Milwaukee have mini right angle, and fully flexible shafts. There’s also the Milwaukee installation driver - though it’s not impact, it’s absolutely incredible.
I got one of these on a Black Friday deal from KC Tool, and it’s a nice tool to have around. My wife uses it a lot and it’s become one of the household tools, kept in a drawer with a small bit set and other tools. I don’t use it as much since I bought a Hoto electric screwdriver with a Prime Day deal, but when I need it, it’s nice to have. It’s very sturdy and my bits give out long before this thing will. My only knock on it is the button to adjust the angle is kinda big and kinda throws off the shape of the tool. I wouldn’t call it a deal-breaker by any means, but a sleeker option would be nice. 9/10 for the tool.
I've got a really nice stubby Felo bit driver. I can keep it inside a Milwaukee bit set case and, with the extensions that came with the bit set, have just about any screwdriver I need in a decent case.
just in case you might want to buy another tool.. my favorite ratcheting screwdriver is the Anex 397-D , just awesome build, no play at all , jis made in Japan, you nned to try it!
I both praise you and curse you. I like my Vessel ball driver a lot, so now I’m gonna have to get this one. You’re both amazing and a terrible person for informing me of this new tool I now must have. $24 on Amazon right now.
Glad i stumbled across your page. I just ordered this from your affiliate link. I have a harbor freight pistol screwdriver that gets used a lot. Think i just found its replacement.
I have a number of Felo tools from their Ergonic line. IIRC, they got a patent based on overmolding the hard parts of the handle, rather than the soft. Could be the other way around; my memory is a little shaky at this hour.
@@ElTeerino that's how I ended up with it too actually; I was getting my brother's Christmas present and ended up impulse buying that and a little stahlwille "remove before flight" keychain tag too lol should say it was actually two Black Fridays ago now that I think about it
It feels like a Wera Kraftform Pistol Ratchet bit driver, or really the Wera Zyklop (with 8784 A1)? I also got vibes of the Felo Smart convertible T-Handle (although I don't believe it ratchets)...
Haha, the handle is probably 'Made in Germany'. Exact same thing as the Nebo but with less features such as a handle filled with bits and tool pouch with SAE and Metric sockets.

I have the Snap on ratchets and love them. This looks like a great tool especially for the price.
Good morning from mid Tn. I hope everyone has a great day.
Thanks again for another great video brother.
Thanks for the overview on this one Doc. It's been on my wishlist for a while now.
They sometimes go on sale at Chad’s Tool Box and KC Tool. Worth watching the Amazon listings too. Check the “other sellers” section often.
@@ElTeerino Yeah, I'm still kicking myself for missing the sale at kc tool last black friday. I think it was like $15.
Reminds me of the ratcheting mechanism on the Nebo ratchet socket set.
Used this today for the first time. Works great for tightening hex bolts on furniture. Probably would work great on my bike as well.
Hello again Doc
Thank you for another Great Video 👍
I think it’s time for a collection update Doc.

Looks pretty good.

It also has a smaller height for tight places in the °90 angle. Helps when backing out bolts and things .

Vessel handle doesn't rotate like snap on or felo so not a fair comparison.

Would like try the three crown workshop
You didn't describe the feel of the handle - ergonic texture?
I've heard it's pretty special

we have some felos at work, I love the handle, it's somewhat squishy.
Soft semi squishy and collects a lot of lint / dust.
It’s one of the nicer ones out there. Collects dust though.
very good buy few
thanks for video
NEBO brought this design to market probably 15 years ago. I have one. The mechanism on that FELO is likely asian sourced.
Looks like they just threw on a handle that was 'Made in Germany'
Great channel brotherman
love your videos almost bought this mid video haha
got mine for 14 bucks from KC tools, of all places, last Black Friday. Deals to be had on this out there
I did the same and was glad I did. I only tossed it in as an afterthought too, wasn’t the main thing I was there to buy.

You should make a video about tools that are cheeper and better then their snap on alternatives
Something like this maybe? th-cam.com/video/iXewoO84Sek/w-d-xo.html
@@lastbesttool haha pretty much! I guess I NEED MORE! love the content and how much you upload. Keep up the great work!

Does tightening the torx by an 1/8th or so reduce the play?
Off topic....
I've been a pro mechanic for decades and have never used a 9mm wrench or socket. Can someone tell me what it's for?
Bicycles, older ones
@@joehart3826 Makes sense..bicycles are weird.
it might be a torx plus (you will know this if a torx head even at the right size feels "lose") if you want to adjust the tension on the hinge so...

Handle made in 🇩🇪
The rest in 🇹🇼

$37??? dunno what fantasyland amazon you shop on. its currently $120 this is only 1 year later
$39 right now
That snap on looks like a shitty china made toy next to it.
