I buy from some Scandinavian modeltrain brands, and they deliver the models without couplers on the model. There in the box in plastic. In my opinion it's a better option, so you can mount them yourself or use couplers of your own choice. Nice wagon you've got there Dan 👍🏻
🇺🇦 Hi Dan. Lovely looking model. Think you're going to enjoy running that. Are you going to put some little people inside? Doesn't it look great on the layout. Thanks again Dan. Stay safe. DELPH JUNCTION (Pete)
Run a Hornby (ex-Airfix) Collett 14xx with my Rapido “Titfield” ex-GE W&U Tramcar and ex-GWR TOAD Brakevan. Finding that due to the extreme lightness of both items of rolling stock that they constantly derail on my PECO Code 100 Points. Anyone else having this problem? Looks like I’ll have to find a way of adding weight to both models as I don’t want to display them as Static Exhibits. [ps: Mine arrived from Rails of Sheffield complete and undamaged 🙂].
Hello Adrian, derailing will not be due to lightness. Before ruining the model by gluing weight into it, please drop us a line via the warranty form on the website as the issue is much more likely to be due to a wheelset defect. We will try and get it sorted for you. Apologies if this post has come up twice, we wrote one yesterday and it appears to have disappeared.
I'm a huge fan of the film and would like to own one of these for myself. But for no sprung buffers and fear that if I purchase one that mine may come with some issues and blemishes like yours and that huge price tag isn't justifiable
Nice to see the inside..great overview..👍🏻
Wasn't it more of a bar than a buffet? I do recall there was an impressive selection of wines and spirits on the Titfield train...
Looks like a great model. Shame they dont have working lights to help see the interior detail
Hi Dan, have you got a 14xx locomotive to pull the Whisbech & Up well tram coach as per the film.
Regards Steve.
Rapido should include a 3D printed model of Mr Valentine.

Best use Modpodge mat glue for mounting the extra details.

So where is the 14xx
“They never fail to disappoint” a slip of the tongue?
Yes indeed! Apologies for that.
@@dansmodelrailways7886 It was the first post of yours that I’ve seen, very entertaining and informative 👍🏼
Enjoyed your review, just wondering if you glued the end stantion back in place in reverse on purpose to prevent the hand rail parts sticking out?
That was an error on my part. I only noticed when editing the video, but i have rectified it now.
