Great looking blade. Just one suggestion for you from an old man, wear a dust mask when grinding steel or wood. I almost died from not wearing one a few years ago. My lungs got all clogged up and I contracted pneumonia. Great work!

I have a recurve blade, and it's difficult to sharpen well. Anyone with suggestions to make that task simpler and/or more efficient?

Yes, curved knives are more tedious to sharpen. However, if the thread is very thick, the easiest thing to do would be to use a belt file and then use a spindle or a straightener to straighten the thread. 👍👍👍
