I just set up an ERCF 1.1 and your video series so far has been absolutely fantastic. Reading through the wiki is one thing, having someone explain details and show real-world setup and troubleshooting like this is just invaluable. I really can't thank you enough. I look forward to more videos!
Good video! Thanks for that 👍🏼 Do you know why gate calibration may varies? At gate 0 I get measurements at ~400mm. But at some gates I only get values at around 380mm. Could that be slipping?
It could be slipping. But, I would give it a test print on one of those gates and see how it does. Keep an eye on the runout detection distance which shows up on the "carrot" button of Klipperscreen, if you have it. Also look at the print and see if it under or over extrudes. That will tell you if the calibration is correct or needs attention. Also, and most importantly, thanks for watching!
Hey, on the issue of homing and the endstop offset error, the fix is running just MMU_CALIBRATE_SELECTOR in gate 0 with filament alignment. This sets where the endstop is relative to gate 0, the assumes where the rest of the gates are based on block size, so error there will translate to every gate. This worked fine for my mondo ERCFv2, which has 19 gates, with gate 18 being just fine to load without issues despite not calibrating it's selector location.

I am planning on more videos. The next one is in filming stages now, so hang around! 👍
Thanks Ivan, this is really really helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks again for another helpful video!
Thanks for stopping by!
Video and audio quality have greatly improved since the last few videos! Good work!
Thank you! I suspect the new camera helped.
Thank you for explaining this clearly. Subscribing...
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Nice video i cant wait to finish my ERCF and use this video to make it work
Thank you so much! Good luck with your build!

That's a good tip. Thanks!
