That’s not what tics are. It’s a common misconception. Tics are usually simple like eye blinking or throat clearing. People with more severe tics can have more contextual tics like this boy but what is said is often the most ‘inappropriate’ thing that the TS brain can come up with in that context.

I've seen several videos now with Connor and his family and the first ones I saw I was having trouble not thinking he was faking it. But that launched me on a course of study into the syndrome and now I know that he is not. A guess, but I would posit that Connor is just very verbally intelligent and this gives a level of complexity to his vocal tics that can really make one wonder how "Johnny" knew the exact worst/funniest thing to say in a given situation. And I really want to give a negative shout-out to TH-cam's censors for denying social interaction between exceptional children like Connor and those who want to support him in his journey. I think he would be an amazing person to meet or intereact with on these comment boards, and would want him to know how brave I think he and his family are for sharing this journey with the world. The Earth is a much more understanding place because of the bravery of people like Connor and his family. Please give them your positivity and support while you can here. I would suspect this channel still has the comments turned on simply because the censors have not "found" it yet.

She said "I can't think how to describe it, it's a double ended-" and I interrupted with one word at the top of my lungs "DILDO". everyone was in histerics, myself included. I was like "I have no idea where that came from"
