Joe did this haunting Bob Dylan cover beautifully! I love Joe's economic playing here. He played sparingly instead of a bombardment of notes, which really did this song justice, elevating the melancholic nature of this song.

So Good and so inspiring on a lot of levels. I haven't heard this Dylan song before but it reminds me of why he is so influential even now. This song just oozes atmosphere and it seeps into your bones.

Dylan will give this cover a thumbs up when he hears it. He's like an undercover jazz-blues artist constantly changing the ways he approaches his own material live on stage. He approaches his own Watchtower (when he plays it) plays it much closer to Jimi Hendrix's version. I bet Dylan would love this take on Scarlet Town and play it sorta close to this version.
