If you could ask a distribution company any question, what would it be?
Will you distribute my line?
I was wondering as a game creator do I do the artwork myself or would you guys take the idea and use your own artist? Basically I have an idea I’ve been refining and I suck at art. I just don’t know if it’s up to me to “git gud” or is it common for me to just find an artist to pay to do it
You come to distribution with a final product. You would approach a publisher if you wanted to sell someone your game to be produced.

No but on the serious side I would ask for the "formula" in creating a game from start to finish.....
The publisher would handle the art in most cases. You need to get your game into prototype form and then go to conventions to play it with others. Then once you feel its really fleshed out, then you can pitch it to publishers.
