The mosquito cap could also be good if graffiti isn’t common in your city or town, you could put up small ass tags everywhere

I'm so used to dragging my can against the wall to cause thin lines with a standard German outline I can see me tearing the needle right off of that cap by accident 🤣. But great reviews sciz keep up the good work.
That's exactly my problem too! I just tilt the can for small area detail lines and stuff like that

To be honest the mosquito cap is really nice! It gives you cleaner edges. I didn’t buy the needle cap bc it looked like it wouldn’t be as thin & more frayed. I also find the mosquito cap doesn’t clog easily and I really thought it would
Yeah tje needle cap is really more of a tagging cap for sure. I haven't used the mosquito cap too much but it is pretty impressive all around, and consistent enough with it's output that I feel totally fine using it on pieces on occasion
The only plus to the needle caps is you can use them to refill cans like the tiny ones and at 30cents out here in Cleveland there super cheap but i agree they leave over spray alot if u keep a small cloth in your free hand what works for me with them is the spray wipe spray method... once you get used to wiping the little excess paint off the tip you can get a really clean line.. my theory is the excess paint gets blown like splatter so if theres none you get a way cleaner line... that said with a needle cap you can only go like 3/4of an inch maybe with the mosquito after practice you can line like 3/8th it doesnt seem like much but fine line stuff i feel is always the hardest part of graff...
he literally use the thickest needle cap there is lol the purple one is super skinny, the white one is a lil wider and the red one is the thicc boy.

I actually love this thing you just have to keep it super clean and in the case when not in use.... i mainly use it to tag in tiny areas when the surface is to rough for a mop... if u practice alot with $1 home depot/Walmart paint till you feel it out you can make it write like a felt marker... telephone poles and mailboxes can be bombed using a can which is epic.. ive even got it working well on those tiny refillable cans.. its worth the money as long as you treat it with respect lmao
You can make any can low pressure. Just turn it upside down and spray some of the gas out.

It's an interesting idea. But similar lines can be made with a skinny cap. Personally I suck at it but I've seen it done plenty of times. I don't think it's unique enough to warrant the high price tag.
Wish u would've put those rubber rings on the other caps too just to see how much they help if at all
That would have been a good idea. I can tell you though that on the mosquito cap I have used it with them and without and it does make a big difference, so it'll probably be the same for some other caps. Might be a good way to regulate the output of some fatter caps as well though!
Realizing this vid is 2 yrs old..... But you mentioned not liking the 'squish' of the rubber rings. If you go to a big box or local hardware store, they'll have little nylon washers. Usually they're in a draw on the wall with all the fasteners and are sold in little bags of 4-6. You could get some that match the dia. of the tube. It'll give a more solid feel. Plus you could micro customize them by sanding them down to a specific thickness to get a precise flow/pressure. 👍🤘

Yeah that was what I thought too after seeing it bend so easily. The homies would definitely laugh though if they see you pull out a case and be like "yeah one sec, let me take my cap out of its case" lol XD I cut out a lot of footage of me not being too happy about it bending lol

Great review man, i was curious just how effective this cap was but i wasn't willing to waste that much money on it :D that said i learned from a brazilian friend that in Brazil they make a homemade version of this: heat up the nozzle of a cap until it starts melting then stick a syringe needle in there. Boom, you just saved 10 bucks lol

There was a clip on youtube called "graffiti instincts bonus video", dont know if its still up, a french writer i think giving you step by step instructions on how to make this 10$ cap by yourself with a regular skinny cap and a needle.. you guys are welcome ;)

Yeah there are a few good methods out there :) One thing that I've come to realize is probably the most valuable part of this cap is actually just the tiny rubber rings on the stem of it. You can use them to flow regulate almost any other cap for some cool effects!
Super pricey I’d say like 3.50 would be fair. I can see people using this cap for intricate murals or commission walls where your getting paid. I can see people using this cap but it’s a very niche market. Not your everyday illegal graff
Yeah for 3.50 I would feel a little less ripped off haha. Not that it is super bad, just you have to use it a hell of a lot to get your money's worth, and like you said, you can't get much use from it in the illegal graff type scenarios.
Yeah, this would be worth it for a commission or a legal spot. Not conducive for stealth missions.
theres a white needle cap I got in a random cap pack which was amazing and had a thinner needle i can’t find it for sale anywhere though. Id recommend it if anyone sees it makes very thin lines.

It's a wire thin tube poking out and he sticks it in his pocket. It's then bent after wondering what the case was for.
That said, i love my Skeeter cap but I do canvas and legal walls these days, so I'm never rushing. Skinny cream cap was the one to beat, and this does it, but it's just another tool in the toolbox. Needle cap is too splattery.

6:30 the needle is nice for 4x4 painting when you got an obstacle in the way you can spray same thickness as the cap youre using but farther away other than that never used it either

that's not how it's done. you have to put the tip through the hole in the cap (you have to put the tip with the hole side down) and with a lighter burn the plastic on the back that will melt and seal the bubble to the cap

i'm not gonna lie, i don't really get it. if you're going THAT skinny why don't you just use a paint marker?
the needle cap isnt supposed to be used in pieces mate. there is actualy a really good use of it and that is as an extinguisher.meaning you can throw a tag at a height you cant reach without making any flares.
You obviously haven't used this one. This one is specifically for detail work and piecing. It isn't like the red needle caps that throw paint like a WD40 can needle does. Go check it out on bombing science. The pressure limiters on this are evidence to the contrary of your statement as well. Did you watch how this thing sprays?

Ayo I know that this vid is like a year old and you probably might not even see this comment but what would happen if you put this cap on a tall high pressure can? 😳 I've seen some people use normal needle caps on talls to get an "extinguisher" effect with the distance and all that, but what would happen with this cap? Just a random thought if you see this or even still have the cap

I know ow dome people have actually made the same type of thing with needles. I have a feeling a pen would be too unregulated and would kinda spit out paint but I'm sure there's a way to make anything like that work in you really really tried haha

MADD Potential. You get marker precision out of a can! Vertical I-beams become billboards now! I'd like to try it on some railings or bars to create a piece you can only see from the approach angle(as bars come together like a solid surface) it really opens up tons of possibilities great review of both strength & weaknesses 🦟

True, I think that's their business model, make by hand and sell for a lot. The shape of this cap is identical to the old ironlak sharpshooter cap so I have a feeling they're using something similar to that and just modifying it

25 for 10 Dollars? God, America is expensive. 10 caps are 2 € in my writers shop. 10 dollar for a cap (that isn´t a stencil cap) cannot be worth it. A self built "junkiecap"(a needle cap with a syringe needle molten into it) should do the same job for a few cents.
I am Canadian, not American, just so you know. (we don't like to be mistaken for them haha). But keep in mind our dollar is worth way less too. ut a junkie can in cheaper no matter what like you said!

i use it very rarely, it is a charm if you want to paint hairs, or similar fine details, but it clogs after a few minutes, and after a day there isnt any way to blow it through, not even with acetone.
I don´t see much difference in the results, just in the budget.

Any graffiti paint or caps ordered are overpriced no real graffhead ever paid for paint especially when shit is getting buffed faster these days so why shell out 5 plus dollars and up.
