Been using this adapter for Rusto cans for quite a while now, they definitely help out when your on a budget. You can even throw an NY fat on cheap dollar cans and they improve the spray. A good product.
What u do is by a rust o can of metallic the regular white label can.. look at the dot on the cap it should be slightly recessed instead of flush.. now take that cap off the metallic can.. u now have a rusto fat stock cap to use on normal rusto paint cans.. this is becuz the metallic paint is thinner so the stock cap on those cans are actually fat caps when u use in on normal colors of rusto youll see what im taking about

Always wondered why the wings. I've always used traditionally as in finger on top of tip. Although while applying the adapter I'd do it like you did while painting. Glad to hear ny thins work too!!
Wings help with the fills so you don’t tired out your finger when filling in. Or you can just spray without the cap at all. The wing just blasts that sht everywhere.

Rusto stock cap is good for bombing. The fact that mtn pretty much made a female version of it " Black hood with white pupil" on their hardcore and 94 cans does show it is a good cap all just depends on how you paint or know how to use what you have or can get.
I can tell youth the easiest way to find one that looks good is to do really simple ones at first and that'll help you find one that looks good and that you like. It's easier to make things look good at first if you keep it simple. And once you do have a simple one you like, you can experiment with ways to alter it and bend it in other ways that you like. Like for the hit-offs in the videos I did here, you might notice that I always keep them really simple because they are words I haven't worked with before and I just want to keep them simple so they sorta look at least half decent lol
i wish rustoleum or krylon would create some sort of artist's line with female valves and a thicker paint formula like old school cans. its pretty stupid that american brands have fucked up their paint and neglected such a big part of their consumer base

Personally I don’t like the yellow wing cap, Ill use the blue uprock adapter or the sekt pink cap adapter.. Flat black rusto, clean white outline is the best throwup combo!
Yeah to be honest it seems like all the adapters are pretty good at the end of the day, at least in my experience. I guess it's the sort of thing that is easy to make properly so there aren't too many bad ones out there

I am pretty sure they do just because the atomization is a bit more pristine which although would mean the valve is still letting the same amount of paint out, you could cover more efficiently with it and use less paint. So indirectly yes, I think it saves you a bit of paint
why the hate for Rusto? really the only con to rusto is the male valve. I've found a lot of colors that rusto does better than the more expensive brands. There grape, key lime, spa blue, seaside blue, coral, and a handful of others are just as good, if not better than the equivalent from montana, flame, etc.... I also think you fail to recognize the reason most of us use rusto as opposed to the expensive brands... rackability. Also, there are plenty of great graff writers that use the rusto stock cap... look at advek for example, dude only uses rusto stock and IMO is one of the best freight writers around right now.

Wing cap sucks once the rubber piece is fucked up you have to buy a new one, just get the all plastic blue adapter one is life time
