29 years ago, I had studied many Christian faiths and felt lost and confused on Biblical doctines for which all churches I looked into could not give me answers. I prayed and felt peace, that answers would come. Then I got a college job working at WDW. A coworker shared the restored gospel with me, and I completely rejected it. Yet she stayed a good and patient friend. Her Christ-like example softened my heart until I was willing to truly listen and pray. As with Lehi and Nephi, one night while listening to her family teach me, the Holy Ghost filled the room with light. I had only had this happen once before when I testified of God. I knew the Church was true! That sister and her husband and children are my family's closest friends. She who courageously shared the Gospel with me played the mother of Nephi and Lehi in this amazing video. My five children, wife, and I all are grateful for her Christian courage in patiently sharing her testimony of Christ and His restored Church.
Im learning to turn to Heavenly Father through all my suffering. God keeps us humble through suffering and to remeber him at all times. He loves all of us.
Agreed. It seems we all like the "Justice" stories. But like the prophet Jonas and the city of Ninevah, the most wicked, if they repent and turn to Christ, may be forgiven. And what a glorious change of heart!

The blessed people who experienced this were bidden “to go forth and marvel not, neither should they doubt.” These words are a personal message to me: Don’t go to either extreme…..which has profoundly helped me in my life. “The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ” truly has words that are powerful to bring us to our Savior Jesus Christ. I love this book.!

I'm trying so hard to be like Jesus. The forgiveness that Nephi and Lehi give Aminidab is powerful. They're hungry, filthy, probably thirsty and been abused in other ways as well and yet Aminidab gets to repent and not be treated badly. Forgiveness is not a feeling but an action. How they acted so lovingly to him I'm hoping to comprehend sooner than later.
Such a marvelous experience! We sometimes asked ourselves why would God don’t show this miracle to all men that they may be all convinced? Simply this heavenly vision comes with a purpose…
"When....his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you....because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." Helaman 5:12. Remembering their Father's Words Helped them Stay Secure to that Foundation which Helped them During Their Trial.

is it me, or is the leader of the Lamanites shown at the very beginning of the video the same actor that played the 'lead' Wise Man in 'The Christ Child'?
When his wife told him to remind them of the significance of his name, I bet he had to bite his tongue to prevent him from saying, "Do you want to tell the story? Because I was getting to it."
There is no mention of Helaman's wife in the Book of Mormon. This was more like a personal priesthood interview. The mother wouldn't have been present. Also, why do they make the Nephites look like Lamanites? They were white Hebrews. And search the scriptures. In no place did female angels appear to mortals.
I was fortunate enough to be one of the actors for this video and I know that everything we talked about in this video was true!
