    This is so soothing. I can feel my blood pressure going down just watching them frolic.

    Aww.. I hope they have a pool of water to swim in~ and I think they play with stones because they want and need something to do and they instinctively use stones to crack the shells of the things they eat! :)

      They also pick their favorite stone and carry it around with them. They just like stones 😂💖

    They do this in the wild as well. I agree a better place for them to be, however, these are rescued, to my knowledge, and would be unlikely to survive if released.

    Otters use rocks to smash stuff. Settle down haters. They love rocks for a reason.

    This is how they should live. Free from human interactions and not inside caged environment of aquaparks

      Otters commonly play with rocks , they sometimes well even carry around their favorite to play with it use as a tool. So no it's not trying to eat them out of hunger

    They must be bored out of their skulls!
    Weird behaviour and possibly damaging to their teeth.

    • @hugbunny
      @hugbunny  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Possibly, as far as I am aware they are all rescued and either will be returned or remain depending.

      +muurrarium With the exception of the chain (obviously), this is all normal behavior. In the wild they select favorite rocks which they use as a tool and store in a special pouch on their bellies. Otters will spend hours rolling around and playing with their favorite rock!

      +muurrarium It's just an outlet for their otter OCD.

      Go and read a book or something. Educate yourself about various behaviours of animals.
