I love trying to figure out what the inspiration games were. Barbuta has some monty mole style vibes, while NinPek really wears the Athena/Son Son vibes
There's a point and click horror/murder mystery game that I really enjoyed in the collection. Its wild that these are full sized games, there's a ton of hours to get through them all.
the fact you you said unearthed game and underlying story makes me feel like its going to have inscriptions vibes. If so its going to absolute trip/ descent to madness
Can you please see if Breachway is up your alley? It's a game coming out real soon, and it has a demo on Steam right now. It's a card battler akin to Slay the Spire, set in a space environment, where you fly your ship into space by choosing the path ahead, and get into fights with aliens or dock ar stores (space stations), similar to FTL.
I was really curious about this, but it needs... something. It's just a little too heavy on the slow/infuriating side that the "I wanna see what gets figured out next" just doesn't carry enough for me. Hope it continues for those that are interested, though.
Also, I (and by extension others) probably wouldn't mind this being made into a series!🤩😁🤩
Hopefully, it will! I'd love to see Baer work his way through it.
Would love it

Please keep playing this.
"You just gotta find your sandwiches where you can." Words to live by.
This isn't the first video in the playlist. It should be.
I wonder if there will be a hidden cheetahmen easter egg?

2:32:00 yeah, about that...
That's a messed up looking otter in the top right I wonder if it's another pet
You gonna put the ep on Spotify?
At 21:11, the green goo area right next to the player character is not moving, so maybe that is a hidden path?
IT'S REAL?!?!
Barbuta is not fun.
Yes it is. It engages the player brain and forces them to think. He keeps comparing it to La Mulana for some reason but that game is much harder.
