If you’re one of the top players who turned down LIV money to remain loyal to the PGA Tour that’s tough but that’s life. This is simply how the entertainment industry works, and yet everyone is acting like the world is ending. “For us golf fans, why do we even watch anymore?” Why do you watch your favorite show? Why do you watch sports in general? Because you find it entertaining and this merger isn’t going to change people loving golf and therefore they will continue to watch whatever form of it they prefer.
Give me a break. If the PGA isn’t preserved or if Liv comes back, even with Liv money, the PGA will back out of the deal and go back to the status quo before the merger. The PGA has value that PIF will pay for. If PGA doesn’t get to preserve the name, fire Greg Norman, pay all players big sums up front, why would they agree to a deal with PIF? JM wasn’t near that desperate to “just take the money” and do what they want to the brand.

Look at the current roster of sponsors. Aramco is the Saudi Oil Company, DP World is short for Dubai Ports world and American companies to billions worth of business with the gulf states. The money was never that clean in the first place.
We have to remember that LIV couldn't break the strangle hold of the PGA. Maybe PIF is just using this as a stalking horse to to actually to control the PGA and then once they control they say - well actually this PGA thing doesn't really suit us any more, were going to get the old LIV jacket out of the closet and wear that for a couple of seasons. Sometimes life only gives you bad cards to play. That is what happened to Rory and Jay. Wonder what Tiger the billionaire will have to say.
“How do they make this work?” Easy… everyone gets paid even more to play golf. After a season of this, and after everyone checks their bank accounts, none of the players are gonna really care.
227 never sniffs a start once the LIV guys are back. Finito, dunzo, gahn
This is the sports story of the year and one of the most facsinating stories in my lifetime.
You posted this multiple times and you obviously don't follow the news .. shocker
It's the lamest dirtiest biggest sell out in the history of sell outs. And the best exemplar definition of what it really is to be do a sell out.
If networks air Saudi propaganda golf they better get ready to lose viewers
Lmfaooo you desperately wish
@@JM-qn3tf maybe you'll watch but then you sound like someone who doesn't know what the Saudis are all about. Lmfao
Nice work Jay
The most hilarious thing out of all of this... Trump was %100 correct and called the entire thing.... lolz...
Omg... What an amazing video. Well done
“If you’re a golf fan, why would you watch now?”
Uh gee I don’t know… maybe to watch people play golf lol
People are crying over nothing. US does so much biz with Saudi. US has done terrible things all over the world. People are naive. Nothing is black and white. Just do your best and enjoy life.
The golfers should be pissed with Jay not LIV. Because Rory could've gone and signed a big deal with LiV then waited a year to come back to the PGA.
Lol this is great…love to see this drama unfold 😂
Rory in the press conference said he was not offered any money, lie or semantics?
Rory has stated that he was not offered anything from LIV.
Ya, when LIV offers 100 million to bums and Rory got no interest? Hilarious take
@Taco Tom Rory made it clear to them to not bother, of course they would if there was an opening to do so.
Cope
Look at the current roster of sponsors. Aramco is the Saudi Oil Company, DP World is short for Dubai Ports world and American companies to billions worth of business with the gulf states. The money was never that clean in the first place.
Geez, the Open this weekend might make Happy Gilmore look tame.
Tournaments get scheduled and they play, it’s not that hard just because they don’t get along really doesn’t matter.
So it’s ok for the PGA to partner with the PIF, but not LIV. That’s what I got from the Rory interview.
So what happens to Greg Norman now? I wonder if he will making coffee for Jay as of next week?
Rory is basically implying he never cared about the Saudi’s….rather he wanted to preserve PGA traditional format. So he’s totally fine with a Saudi operated tour provided it’s not run “liv style”.
I started watching Golf when Tiger came along and stopped when he faded.
It would be like if you were a Yankees fan and they had to keep the same players forever...no rebuild, ever.
Well where else are they going to go ?????
“When it is a question of money, everybody is of the same religion.” Voltaire
Remarkably calm despite being told they wpuld use lube, but then just raw doggin it!
Won’t happen but I wish some from the PGA Tour led by Tiger would just break off and form another tour. Let the PGA tour die. And I supported the PGA tour through all this until now. I still won’t watch LIV crap. I guess as others have said I’ll watch the majors and amateur events and that’s it.
With out PIF the PGA is Dead
Millionaires fighting? Won't be able to sleep more than 12 hours tonight.
What a mess.
The Animal House movie said it best "You screwed up, you trusted us"
Where is this sound bite?
Anyone who thinks the tour isn’t anything more than a figurehead. The money is coming from the group that started the other league and now they are gonna be punished?
Rory’s true colors is showing. By the way, I learn how to speak the English language.😊
The PGA has some important players. Like Rahm, Hovland, Morikawa. True. They haven't trashed LIV and I'm sure can play together. Mcilroy has trashed LIV but he he's 34, hasn't won a major in almost 10 years. People put too much stock in his importance. Plenty of top players disappear because of injury, lack of interest etc (David Duval comes to mind) and the game survives.
Good comment
Shipnuck has been imbedded in LIV golf too long. Can't put a name to the source of any of his information. Monahan and the tour are not agreeing to any framework that includes Norman.
Rory! Welcome to the Liv Tour! ⛳️
Never be loyal to your boss or company unless it’s in the family.
Now Rory has to play against more actual golfers and it’s gonna be much harder for him to win🤣🤣🤣
Golf money, oil money, some people are willing to overlook a lot of their own “morals” to get that bag.
Rory 😂😂😂
Grow up
You got played
I don’t care what Liv does I will not partake…. 7:53 7:53 😊
Never liked Rory from day 1. Could never mind his own business. This just cements the fact that he is the biggest hypocrite going
If the players refuse to play there is no pga, simples, the players need to unite.
Yes and boycott or start their own league.
Just go away
And if they don’t play there are no tournaments, they don’t get paid and if they don’t play there is no tv money so this is just fucking dumb.
@@JM-qn3tf you first
They are not employees and they all want Saudi money.
