I only played Anivia supp when my adc picks Vayne because of Anivia's wall + Vayne's E combo, but there's a little trick on playing with tp because it has a defensive use, when they are about to kill you and you still have your passive, you can tp to any safe tower as a egg if you use tp before fall into pasive. Is very funny see an egg using tp when the other team is trying to kill you.

Because like you just talked about in the Karthus support video: dying doesn't make you weaker, it only makes the enemy stronger. And getting executed doesn't even do that! You still get 60 support gold, a faster recall, and a refillable start. I'll come back and post what I find.
Anivia has always been one to have high damage even at level 2. What makes her weak early game is how bad her wave control is and how punishing missing Q can be, since without proper setup it can be hard to land. Her damage? Absolutely not, if she lands her stuff she can trade with every champion quite well.

Her powerspike at lv2 is high that all, after that lv3,4,5,6... she is quite the same when other champs can even one shot you, more over if you dodge the Q ,her E dmg is way way lower and she can't proc elec on you .For ex: sylas who have high powerspike dmg at lv3 but still counted at a late scaling champ
Anivia's early game relies on landing the Q and getting as many auto attacks in with her 600 AA range. She doesn't have damage without those. Why is her early game considered weak? Her Q missile is one of the slowest in the game. Her AA animation is slow and her base AD is low for cs'ing. She doesn't have a Q ability that comes back every 2-3 seconds like other current meta picks. Her mobility isn't that great. Pre-6, she doesn't have good wave clear without using the only ability to keep her safe. Her passive has a 4 minute cooldown which is a huge chunk of the game and an even bigger % of the laning phase. If you burn her flash and passive early on, you've crippled her. When she does hit level 6 it burns through mana even with tear and it doesn't guarantee CS like Singed Q seems to do, so you still need to last hit. Her 51.9% win rate I'd attribute to players knowing how to play her well enough to keep her relevant. Fun champion to master but brutal to learn in the current meta.

Also, you can put a second point in W early game to have a bigger wall to better catch out ennemies. It's under-valued, but don't hesitate to try it, it's amazing !
There is actually a predator anivia player in China or Korea (I don’t remember). His name is e dal and he runs predator anivia mid and buys shurelias battle song as his mythic as a mid label. Kinda like this guy but he is pretty legit. He was top 10 in one of those regions before.

Man, it is sad, that he wintrades, but this strategy is actually so genius! I have this seen this title, but not have not watched yet. I played just precisely as in video. The only 2 exceptions I had, is I bought yellow boots to roam even faster, and I bought Everfrost for even more CC. I do not know, maybe Mandate is broken on her, but I really like to hold enemies, either to kill them with ult alone, or to wait before my teammates come in to fight. Thanks for the video! As ex-main Anivia (today it is really hard to play vs. 2 thousand dashes), I really enjoyed playing her support in my favourite way of leaving adc ;D.
I used this in previous seasons. Definitely my favorite support pick. I go W lvl 2 though as it basically guarantees that I get the enemy ADC's flash then we either bully out of lane or kill at 3
...Unironically this makes me consider the option of running Teleport on my Thresh to assist other lanes. Having him casually getting behind you should also prove very useful.
I recently had a flash smite unsealed spellbook thresh, he literally ganked top, mid, top, then got back to me in bot just in time to give me a free double kill. Tp thresh could be legit scary lmao

Now I know why my WR with Anivia support is so good. I think Aniva's kit is great, but her passive needs to be reworked to fit the current and/or future metas. For those that don't play Anivia, her passive cooldown is a whole 4 minutes. Fully leveled Zilean with some CDR can do what Anivia's passive does every 30 seconds, lol. There are so many mid laners with fast and spammy abilities with much more mobility. I think predator/TP Anivia is viable as a support, really excited to try this out in some norms. Her passive is fine. You seem to be trying to propose her passive gets reworked to be just like someone's ult. xD Having a free life every 4 minutes without having to press a button is acceptable.
Dont be fooled. You need hundreds+ games to be able to pull this off. Anivia is squishi, need to position well, Q stun only at the end or line it flies, also wall isnt instant.

it makes sense to use this as a mid laner but early teamfights are much more valuable than a roaming support's life
