As a native of China, I was naturally immersed in its culture and its love for tea. When I was college-bound, I set on a journey to the States to study, while my brother remained in China to open a traditional teahouse. During this time, many students became intrigued with my loose-leaf tea & traditional tea-drinking style. This prompted a desire to share the art & culture of tea.
After receiving my Master's degree in 2007, my brother suggested bringing a teahouse-style shop to the States. In 2009 The Green Teahouse was a reality! Now in our 13th year, and several awards later, we continue to be a haven for tea lovers across generations & cultures.
I am devoted to promoting a healthy lifestyle & bringing joy through fine teas. Tea ceremonies, tea classes, handcrafted teas-to-go (including infamous Bubble Tea), tea accessories, complementary tea tasting & online shopping are available.
My love for tea continues & my desire to share its history, beauty, delicious flavor & holistic value.
