Hello to YOU THE PEOPLE! I am sure some of you have noticed I have reposted someolder videos that Ithought were good videos but didn't get many views. Main reason I am doing this is because I was in a bad accident got knocked unconscious, a concussion, stitches in my head and foot and have been in a lot of pain and unable to make new videos. Please bare with me and I will have new videos soon!
Sure hope you're on the mend soon! Take care, Larry ❤
Feel better soon! Sending you good thoughts
Praying for your recovery brother, I’m making this exact recipe tonight and I’m so excited.
Get well soon Larry.
Feel better soon Larry!
Tanksgiving is not a thing being celebrated in my country but I think I will make one of your recipes this 23rd and giving thanks that I discovered your channel. It showed me some really nice things I want to try myself and at the same time taught me a bit about how "the every day American" has to make due with little means. Totally different foods than we do in the Netherlands but in general the same mindset. Have a great Thanksgiving Mr and Mrs Wolfe (and wolfepups)
"Thanksgiving in the Netherlands" could be an opportunity to celebrate the blessing of just having food & family/friends! 🇺🇸 👍☕
@@lilblackduc7312 Nice idea, however we incorporate this in other festivities like Christmas. We have to many "special days" as it is already. and many people don't feel like adopting American holidays that have no meaning to us. I remember when haloween got adopted, it didn't sit well with many. I think it would work the other way around as well, if America would adopt Sinterklaas (no, that is not the "Dutch Christmas") many Americans would say "but why?"
@@mavadelo ..Halloween is considered by many who have researched it as a Pagan holiday. That's a "no, no".... In 1958, I was born in Minnesota. (a.k.a. "land of the great frozen Swede/Dutch/German/Pole/Russian farmer") So, I'm well aware of Sinterklaas! We observed many "Old World" holidays then, when America was still the great Melting Pot of nations...before the 'woke' Marxists took over 3yrs ago.
@@lilblackduc7312Also in MN. Raised in Frogtown/Midway Saint Paul but live 20 mins north for the last decade. Yes, the woke is a bummer and it's even where I'm at. Mainly rich white women thinking they know what's best for minorities lol. I have been to Black Duck up north tho via a close friend. Sad that the TC's, Duluth, Rochester have the say or control on the whole State.
@@R.J.1 ..I would have never believed it, if I hadn't seen it for myself...How the cities are run by non-Americans! Outside Propaganda &, Big Money invited those influences into the Twin Cities a few years back. I couldn't believe they've rioted, burned a Police precinct and everything else they've done. God, help us all.
Sounds like it might be worth taking a thin slice off one end of the Spam, frying that little piece, breaking it up, and using it as the basis for Spam gravy, while the rest of the Spam is baking. That way you get max flavor in the Spam, max flavor in the gravy.
I already made this dish more than a handful of times thanks to you! You’re being real sly reuploading this LOL
How weird.
I just bought some turkey spam yesterday for the first time in over 10 years. I love it!
This may be a reupload video but it is worth watching again, because this Turkey 🦃 Spam is Freakin' Delicious.
Yeah, I was pretty sure I had seen this before.
Yes, definitely saw this before.
Yep it is definitely a reupload
Yes because I made this last year
@@martinedingivanLarry’s been in a bad accident
Lessons learned: Turkey spam is great, always add gravy, always add more gravy. Got it. Thanks!
I've been a little leery of trying the turkey Spam, but you have sold me on its virtues. This sounds like exactly the sort of dinner I'd whip up for myself just for a cold winter's evening, much less Thanksgiving. I'd be tempted to glaze the baked version, though!
what would you glaze it with?
I’m from Minnesota where SPAM is made and I love them all but Turkey SPAM is one of my favorites. I even have Pumpkin Spiced SPAM and Figgy Pudding SPAM in my cupboard. I buy all the flavors. 😋
I’m glad you reuploaded this, I hadn’t seen it yet. Larry, I’m so sorry to learn about your accident, I’m praying for you, and your family as I know how scary and concerning it is when a loved one is injured in such a frightening way. Best regards!
I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and I’ll never look at or eat Spam ever again.
I wonder what those fried spam slices would taste like breaded in dry cornbread stuffing mix (ground in a food processor), green bean casserole, with some cranberry sauce on the side? Oh...and turkey gravy on top of the fried SPAM! I may try this and see how it turns out! You just gave me an idea, Larry! Thank you!!! I love your videos so much! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Those Idahoan instant potatoes are REALLY good for instant potatoes.
I love spam the regular spam but I will try the turkey spam and the meal you did looks yummy
With me out of work, it looks like this will be my turkeyday. Thank you for giving me hope. It sure beats a hungry man.
Still my favorite video from you Larry....when you first did this one, I had to try the Turkey Spam.... Its been a regular in our cupboards ever since👍🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼🔥
Glad you enjoyed it
I love Spam too, mostly the 25% reduced salt kind, but I slice it as for fried Spam, then bake the slices in the toaster oven, turning once. Lots of crispiness! Good faux-BLT.
Try the bacon flavored. It's lower in sodium than the low sodium spam.
That actually was my Thanksgiving dinner and since I live by myself I didn't have to hear any complaints and loved every bite...
Hell yeah! I like turkey spam and cabbage
Well sir I have never been a SPAM guy but to each his own. If you like it, more power to ya!!!😃
Now I know what I'm doing for Thanksgiving!
definitely remember watching this exact episode before...i remember because i make it probably once every 3-4 months just for myself because its quick and delicious! ....ahh heck, i'll watch it again...then go make it again
I love your videos keep making them
Where are the cranberries?!! Can't have turkey dinner without cranberries!!
A poor man’s Thanksgiving FEAST!!!!!
Spam, Spam, Spam, and Spam!
I've never mucked about with edible spam before, never even looked for it in the grocery store. As such, I was totally unaware they had a Turkey Variant. Until now, of course. Thanks for the education, Mr Wolfe!
Gravy = Love
I make this several times during the year and it adds a nice touch of Thanksgiving to any season. I make it just as you did, except I use Bob Evans mashed potatoes (I have never made mashed potatoes as good as Bob Evans) and Stove Top stuffing and gravy and it is delicious! It makes just the right amount for 2 people to have 2 hearty meals. Thanks for your great videos! Keeps me in the kitchen!
i made a thanksgiving dinner with this, stovetop, instant gravy, cranberry sauce,.. it was amazing for what it was
Sounds great!
this actually looks great, im going to try turkey spam for sure!! i love original spam, favorite way to make it is pan fried then put some peach habanero jelly on top…
And cherries and squid
Watched last year and loved it. Watched again this year still loved it. New tradition Larry? Like Rudolph the reindeer
7:07 Your gravy instructions are GREAT for those of us who are not fully sure of how to do it.
My mom would add just a little strong coffee to darken the color if she thought it was too light.
It's sad. We don't have all these random flavours up in Canada
Is there Moose spam
I tried turkey Spam awhile back and loved it.
Never tried the other flavors my thought is if the original is the best why try the rest (not the greatest idea) The roasted turkey looks like I should give it a try, I do love turkey. Thanks for another wonderfully informative and wholesome video. I hope everyone's holidays are merry and full of love and happiness.
😋👍that looked DAMM good might just be one of your best 🙂
Great Summer Idea, make a pseudo-Thankgiving Spamed-up cranberry classic salad and sandwixh.
Great video 😊. I wonder how the turkey spam would be if it’s baked (to get the outside skin good), then pan fried for extra crispifixation. Thanks Larry. Hope you & your family have a great thanksgiving
Great idea!
Good channel if you are single and no one taught you how to cook as a child. 👍
I appreciate that
Gravy makes everything better, it all looked delicious. 😋
Great to see you went back to the 10 point rating scale. It let's you have much more accurate ratings. 👍
Turkey Spam is good. I just find it hard to picture grandma coming out of the kitchen with a platter of Turkey Spam blocks.
Well them grannies are long since gone. Gen x grandmas now. Turkey spam it is nowadays. And eating in separate rooms.
SPAM needs to send you on an all expenses paid trip to the Spam museum! Oh and lifetime supply of spam!
Try making a Spam clubhouse. Turkey Spam, bacon Spam lettuce and tomato. Quite tasty.
You sold me. A few cans are going into the prep pantry.
What a creative video! Looks good. Where's the corn?
I've been a SPAM lover all my life, but have yet to try Turkey SPAM. Obviously I need to fix that! 😎👍
Get well soon brother!!
*Larry, I bet you can do a family budget meal video with the cost amount included, I say less than a dollar per serving!* 🦃
*”First…” This word is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Stingy.*
*Sorry about that.*

I fry the turkey spam in a cast iron skillet, then use the pan glaze to make the gravy. Then i simmer the slices in the gravy for a while before serving. Turns out great.
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺
We can get Turkey Spam in Oz and it sells well as it makes good sandwiches or served with salad.
It is good value for canned meat.
Love the slicer - nifty device ✅👍
If youve ever eaten a turkey roll or turkey loaf, turkey Spam is pretty similar except it's all white meat.
I've been watching this channel for years. I love it because I trust the guy's opinion. This looks delicious. I have faith in Spam. I get this stuff in Taiwan from France called trite which i think it better. But I have only had the classic spam. Great channel.
Damnit. I never ever would have picked up a can of Turkey Spam. Now, I've got to. I don't want to, but I've got to.
I love this idea. So economical & easy. I would have added a few drops of Kitchen Bouquet to the gravy ! Thanks, Larry ! :)
Spam affiicionado from the UK reporting in - Can't find the turkey version here that I know of, but I live in hope...
I remember when you did this video some years ago, you must be spamming us again... :P
Never had spam but im open minded when it comes to food so might try it fried❤
nice
You did Turkey spam 5yrs ago lol love your Videos
used to save the spam keys from my grandma's house
I buy turkey Spam occasionally, it's pretty tasty. I'll have to try baking a whole loaf. Thanks Larry!
OK since it's just me for Thanksgiving this year I'm going to buy turkey spam instead of a whole turkey, turkey breast, or a rotisserie chicken. Should be just the right amount for me to have a meal and a sandwich or two. Thank you for the review.
`That looks really good. I know I have seen this video on here before, but worth a re-up this time of year.
Never would have tried the Turkey Spam although a big fan of the regular.
HA! This is EXACTLY what I had for Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey Spam and all. I have to say it's WAY better baked in the can with it cracked just a little. The juices keep it from drying out too much.
I appreciate it
I tried Turkey Spam. Excellent, but I believe it would taste better if they kept the turkey's white color rather than making it the red color of ham.
Hmm interesting alternative for those with limited expenses for Thanksgiving meal maybe this might be for a even a great side meal to the regular Thanksgiving meal 😋 🤔 definitely great
Spam is holy grail apocalypse food. Glad I enjoy it.
Never had it in my 73 years. Probably never will. Always saw the cans in my local Bodega and wondered what it was.
I don't know why it wouldn't be good. If it's Turkey it should be.
Told you.
I will have to try this!
how bout a turkey spam hot brown? lol
SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM! SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM! SPAM!!! Wonderful SPAM!!!
Sorry, the latent Viking within took over for a bit. ;p
Subscribed!
Nice video lil nigga🙏
Stovetop Stuffing is the bomb!
Yes. Great Value tastes too salty.
@@lindah6954 I've never tried Great Value stuffing. I've loved StoveTop since I was a kid in the 70"s.
Mr,Wolfe pit. Turkey spam has got to be good. Keep up the awesome work 👌
Thanks! Will do!
Turkey spam, Great Value instant mashed potatoes, Great Value turkey stuffing, GV Hawaiian rolls and GV mixed vegetables. It's a great meal. Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh I figured those flavoured Spam's were, well, flavoured Spam. They're not - just canned meat with the word SPAM on the label. Okay - that might be relatively okay.
Way to munch sodium for people with high blood pressure
I swear I thought you did a review on this before.
I can't make my own turkey gravy. I just buy the jars. Great Value stuffing has too much salt. Stove Top Stuffing is better.
2:55 I have a similar slicer for my SPAM. That's how you tell a _true_ SPAM aficionado.
Video 👍🏻👍🏻.I’m trying the bake & so glad a higher rating than Pan.I’ll be doing the gravy too as I’ve done this before.PS.you sound a little like food wishes.lol.Australia 👌🏻🇦🇺😎
And you know, for maximum cheesiness, you could have added canned cranberry jelly.
As a SPAM Lover of most of it's flavors except Bacon flavored (because of the Sodium content), I sometimes eat SPAM straight from the can at room temperature and once I store the opened SPAM in the fridge, I heat it a little in the Microwave. I prefer not to fry it, not because I don't like it, I don't like the extra fat. I've been to the SPAM Museum in Minnesota. They bring out samples, (usually hot) every 10 minutes!
Tastes exactly like Spam but Turkeyish!!!!!🦃🦃🦃🤗🤗🤗
Among the many contributions you have made to my liberal education, sir, I must singularly credit the word "crispified" - a brilliant neologism. Everything is better if it is crispified.
Spam microwaves well, but I don't know that my pitiful little grocery store carries it. I'll look and see. Otherwise, it will be low sodium Spam.
This guy always whines about formed meat slurry concoctions yet he loves Spam? 😂
Hope you're feeling better Larry!
I find spam super salty so I'm not crazy about it. Does this still taste a lot like spam or do you think it's different enough that someone who doesn't like regular spam would like it?
Fried, baked or just out of the can, Spam is GOOD! A crispy crust makes it better. I blacken mine a bit in the frying pan. Now, regarding sodium. I just read a report that says that only 10% of people are "sodium sensitive". For the other 90%, sodium has very little effect on blood pressure. Of course, no matter what your opinion is on any subject, you can find a report on the Internet that will support it. I will now search for a report that says that fat is good for you.
I have to admit, along with Taco Bell, SPAM is one of those things I enjoy but don't tell everyone how much I enjoy it. :)
Hey Larry, I hope you’re doing better! Hey, would you be cool if I made a “what are we eating”fan video while you’re healing up? I found some seafood mac & cheese at my local grocery outlet.
SPAM used to sponsor a NASCAR team in the 1990s
Trailer park / soup kitchen style Thanksgiving dinner. 😋
Great Value instant mashed potatoes are OK and cheaper than Idahoan- that is- when they are in stock. I bet this meal beats the TV dinner at the same or less cost, with no endless leftovers or carcass to deal with..
We tried turkey spam on a whim, and found out we like it. It's also good with scrambled eggs, or a frittata, and it's good fried with onions and bell peppers.
This is weird, I just bought two cans of turkey spam yesterday. I know it funky stuff but I have tried it before and it’s pretty good and is good with mashed potatoes and gravy.
This is a repeat...still fun cuz I actually remembered. Hope get better view than first time... A classic wolfe
