Just a correction: There is no Turkish part in Cyprus. It is the occupied by Turkey part of the island, since 1974 when Turkey invaded the island! This occupied part is not recognized as a legal state by any country except of course Turkey.

Many Turks were brought since then to the island, with an aim to change the demographics of the population. Anyway, it's a big topic... From my experience as I spend always part of my year in Cyprus (as I work in Forex) Limassol is the best, is has the sea side, its modern and its actually city, not a small town, even though its the most expensive one.
Mate, you could have mentioned that there is an airport also in Paphos, as it is a real advantage for Paphos. Yes, smaller one than Larnaca airport but fair enough :)
I lived there for five years, Paphos was my home town. Its not a big island so getting anywhere is no big deal, I used to commute Paphos to Larnaca daily and its an easy drive. Its not a great island for beaches really but Corel Bay is good.

Wow, thank you! This means a lot to me. :) Good questions! First, the restrictions are getting easier, and it's even possible to sit outside of restaurants since this month. We're also allowed to travel from city to city, but we aren't allowed to stay longer than 6h outside at the moment. Maybe this restriction will go away soon. Regarding North Cyprus, I didn't use the airport yet but crossing the borders as an EU citizen is easy, I've done it myself. Have a good time!

If you intend to buy property i would choose Paphos . Lots to pick from. A good spot is Tala and the upmarket kamares village. Tala is the original Cyprot village with quite a few restraunts and bars and Kamares is the posh estate just behind . Do check them out. .Very nice ..i bought in Kamares and love it .. its about a 15 to 20 minute drive into Paphos and 30 minutes to the airport.

Please don't choose Larnaca for the beaches! If you like the beach, Ayia Napa and Paphos are so much better. Spent my first 21 years in Larnaca and I used to take the car and drive an hour to Protaras to go to the beach there, when I wanted to treat myself.
Hey, yes Paphos has its own airport. Only thing, there are not as many flights as compared to Larnaca. Especially when flying to Germany for example, it's expensive and there are not many flights. In Larnaca, there are multiple departures every day.

Honest question about the proximity to an airport: why do people consider it such a big advantage? You say @2:05 that Larnaca is 5 minute's drive to the airport. 1. That means lots of noise all the time from planes landing and taking off. 2. What's the big deal if Larnaca is 5 minutes from the airport instead of 50? Even if you travel once a week, you save an hour and a half a week, which is nothing compared to the whole time spent traveling (packing, driving to the airport anyway, going through security, boarding, the actual flight, flight delays etc.). You can save far more time by living close to that promenade in Limassol, which you visited 4-5 times a week.
Hi Dan, fair point. I wouldn't want to live too close to the airport either because of the noise. However, when I travel weekly I personally wouldn't want to drive that often to the airport, and also if you have your own car you need to park it for the time of your travel. I live about 30minutes from the airport and this is a very convenient distance. Everyone decides on their own what they value most. Have a nice day and time! :)

Nicosia is the most caltural city and the only ciy tha has so many big forest like parks and lakes and dams.also at night is the most cool city, almost never have humidity and also so close to the mountains.

The occupied part you mean. What happened in Cyprus in 1974 is exactly what is happening today with Russia in Ukrania. An invasion. And since then, the northern part of the island is occupied resulting in around 200,000 people becoming refugees in their own country.

Limasol government doesn't spend properly on entertainment and infra they depend on investors to do that! It is extremely boring for teenagers and kids. Also very difficult to make friends bcs Cypriots don't mix with foreigners

The occupied part you mean. What happened in Cyprus in 1974 is exactly what is happening today with Russia in Ukrania. An invasion. And since then, the northern part of the island is occupied resulting in around 200,000 people becoming refugees in their own country.

Very nice video when you mentioned disadvantage s of paphos you said its far from Larnaca airport ,but there's also a big airport in paphos. Then you said for Nicosia .you can cross over to (Turkish) side of cyprus ?.No 👎 ⛔ Its occupied north of cyprus. One country .not Turkey or Greece its only cyprus north and south and west and east of cyprus not Turkish or Greek. Turks occupied north in 1974 .Come on man you should know this your living there and your giving out wrong information to people .
Limasol government doesn't spend properly on entertainment and infra they depend on investors to do that! It is extremely boring for teenagers and kids. Also very difficult to make friends bcs Cypriots don't mix with foreigners
There are no beautiful cities in Cyprus, only the beaches are beautiful, the cities are boring ,full of cars, no nature
