I lost my mum and dad and I have a large skin graft on my leg from getting run over. I’m 23 feeling really alone, it’s nice to know theres someone else on this planet like me
This is incredible! Thank you so much for sharing. Squeamishness about the donor site is one of the things that really gets to me about phallo, but watching you go through all of this with such strength and patience gives me so much hope. It’ll be painful and scary for a while, but it’s a surmountable obstacle. Nobody is obligated to share about their phalloplasty journey, of course, but I’m so grateful to those who do. It’s massively helpful and inspiring. Seriously can’t thank you enough
Thank you my friend, I am very glad it is helpful! Yes, I felt very worried about how I might react to my arm, but its different when its your own I think, plus it healed far quicker than I imagined it would. There really is much hope to be had, that is why I share, beause I feel there is a real need for honest first hand accounts of lower surgery. AS you rightly say, not everybody want to, or can share it, but those that can I am so grateful too, which is why I now do the same! I have a memoir publishing in April 2021 which documents my phalloplasty journey in detail, I hope that is of great use too! You can find more info about that here if it helps. Thanks for your lovely commment and kind appreciation! finlaygames.com/my-books/
haha XD Oh Finn, what you like! Arms looking amazing. Looked like Giraffe markings to start off, nice finish of skin underneath. Thanks for sharing buddy!
Your arm looks like its healing wondefully! Congrats :) i had to leave the arm soaking bit after a sec though, lol thats a little too much for me to watch haha
I just love you guys! Jokes over a scabby arm! Yaaaaa! Seriously, it looks great! Really need to work on the swelling in that hand though...I worry. LOL! Always look forward to your next vlog.
Thank you! Yes, my arm was used for a skin graft for my phalloplasty surgery. More info in this playlist, vidoes, blogs and links to more lower surgery info:th-cam.com/play/PL-xdbMjLqelIYaTrgQ-jo4uAJxeu2QvBL.html
Arm looking great Finn. I bet that was such a nice feeling to have that done on your arm. Really looks nice and pink underneath. Do you have any sensation at all??
hey mate yes it feels awesome!!! did it again today and I'm pretty much scab free now! feels so much freer! my arm is numb in patches. finger tips still numb too. Finn junior still numb too. Early days but I wait in anticipation!!!
so i’m mentally preparing for my bottom surgery journey and i haven’t felt too distressed by any of the physical aspects yet until this part 🤢 thinking about rubbing that much scabbed skin off my arm seriously has me genuinely gagging. such incredible healing for so shortly after the procedure! this is just a thing i hadn’t really thought much about 🤮
I understand! The arm was the bit I was the most worried about, in how awful it looks post op. But, it is different when its your own arm, its far more manageable and it actually heals surprisingly quick!
+Al Clark There are different types of phalloplasty so you dont have to use the arm, you can use the thigh or the tummy. If you do have radial arm then they prefer to use your non dominant arm, but if you want them to use the other arm thats usually ok. Hope that helps!
+FinnTheInfinncible yeah thanks. Even though I'm a long way off from it I just wanted to ask. I have tattoos on both arms so I was just a little bit stuck
+Al Clark Ah I see! yes there are definitely other options for you! Howver, I have seen guys who have tatooes....and of course now they are on their penis! They look good though!!!
I had phalloplasty, lower surgery. They use skin from the forearm to create the penis more info here ---> th-cam.com/play/PL-xdbMjLqelIYaTrgQ-jo4uAJxeu2QvBL.html
no this isn't really scabbing as such it's more dead skin and you don't force any that is stuck on. this is why you soak ..just to encourage what's loose to come off so the new skin underneath is free to heal
They take care of u good in the UK it is terrible here in the us my husband has 2 disc that were herniated and they done surgery and removed part of the disk and he also hade trigeminal neuralgia and storm ligament and torn meniscus in the torn ACL in his right knee and his hip is giving him terrible time and they doctors won't give him anything for pain it's just terrible here the drug heads have ruined it for people that is in pain and need things to help him get through life how is it in the UK are they the same way there or different.
it's just because it's a graft. they take a while to right themselves and stop swelling. I just have to keep massaging it and elevating it. will take a few months before normal circulation returns
At first I thought it was like a cool snake skin tattoo then when ya started to rub I was like "Ooooooooooooooooo" but I didn't think it was gross at all, I'm a registered nurse's kid so nothing bothers me. Yer really lucky to have a partner who isn't grossed out at all. Is he an R.N?
it's because it's a graft and because they took an artery and two nerves. it will take a while for it to learn how to properly circulate again but eventually it will go down
yeah, I know, you are healing amazingly well. no infections as I understood, which is great considering how easy it can happen. and usually it does which is why I am kind of scared of phallo... metoidioplasty seems like a better option. but I am going to have to do some proper research at some point about both of them.
+myflyingkidney I had one minor infection at the base of the phallus but it luckily didn't escalate. I have been lucky compared to some. this op does come with a lot of complications in compassion to meta. it's why I took so long to decide, I really didn't know if I was prepared to take the risks. I'm glad I did as my results are just fantastic and I know I wouldn't have been completely satisfied with meta, for me it would have been a compromise . it's all about working out what your main needs are from surgery and what risk you can cope with not an easy thing to decide and I wish you all the best with your research my friend

You are adorable. Very cute. Your arm looks like it's healing pretty good. Did make my stomach churn with the flappy parts lol
+David Imhoff aw thank you! And yes....it made me squirm at points!!!
FinnTheInfinncible if I had that I would have picked at that to death.
+David Imhoff oh god it was so hard not too!!! I wanted the scar to be as less as possible so that made me behave myself!!
FinnTheInfinncible you are far better than I. :)
Yes I am Finn...I'm standing to pre now. My next surgery is June for t-implants and ED. I am truly Blessed!
Pee
absolutely fantastic! what a long way we have both come!
Your arm looks like its healing wondefully! Congrats :) i had to leave the arm soaking bit after a sec though, lol thats a little too much for me to watch haha
Looking good Finn, it's amazing the different techniques used.
Keep on keeping on Buddy.
+EthanJay1261 thanks my friend! it is amazing how this surgery varies. looks like you are doing well too!
I just love you guys! Jokes over a scabby arm! Yaaaaa! Seriously, it looks great! Really need to work on the swelling in that hand though...I worry. LOL! Always look forward to your next vlog.
bless ya! yeah it'll take a while to get the swelling down. I'm working on it!
If I ever had anything like this I’d ruin it because I wouldn’t be able to kelp myself from picking it all off!
I had to be so disciplined and stop myself!!!
Hey Finn, first time seeing your arm. Can someone tell me what happened. It’s healing beautifully mate.
Thank you! Yes, my arm was used for a skin graft for my phalloplasty surgery. More info in this playlist, vidoes, blogs and links to more lower surgery info:th-cam.com/play/PL-xdbMjLqelIYaTrgQ-jo4uAJxeu2QvBL.html
That looks really good. It heals really well!
thanks mate. yes I was really worried about how this might turn out but I'm very pleased!
I thought it would be really bloody, messy and gross, but it actually looks really good! Amazing!
+Lucas Ayers yeah ive been pretty lucky and its not really got gross! thanks mate!
Your arm looks fantastic Finn. Gross but so neat at the same time. I am so glad you are doing so well.
it is both gross and neat! very very pleased! thanks my friend!

That haircut makes you look a little like Hawk-eye from the avengers movie 👍, doing great man!
Lol thank you! Ive completed my journey now....and have much less hair...on my head at least! th-cam.com/video/MRM806QTj9c/w-d-xo.html
Amazing!
Lovely isn't it!!! :-D
Did you do a video from doing this for the last time??
How many months post-phallo were you when you did this?
I was 6 weeks post op when the nurse told me to salt bath the arm
This is cool! 😂
Amazing isn't it!!!
Very odd, I’ve had skin grafts on the stump of my arm when it was amputated but I didn’t get any scabs at all other than around the stitches
This has nothing to do with your arm but what does your ring say?
This is kind of random but where did you get your Star Wars T-shirts? :)
not random at all! I get most from eBay or qweerty :-D
ok thank you :)
How’s that happened?
I have had phalloplasty th-cam.com/play/PL-xdbMjLqelIYaTrgQ-jo4uAJxeu2QvBL.html
Can you choose where they take skin from? And if not, does skin graphs from the arm effect tattoos?
+Al Clark There are different types of phalloplasty so you dont have to use the arm, you can use the thigh or the tummy. If you do have radial arm then they prefer to use your non dominant arm, but if you want them to use the other arm thats usually ok. Hope that helps!

Never ever remove the awesome 80's music.
ah ha! ok! love this incredibly apt tune!!!!
Thanks for sharing but what happened?
I had phalloplasty, lower surgery. They use skin from the forearm to create the penis more info here ---> th-cam.com/play/PL-xdbMjLqelIYaTrgQ-jo4uAJxeu2QvBL.html
Gloves?
What did you mean?
Only that maybe you’re helper should wear gloves to prevent an infection, nothing malicious inferred
Ah l see, there was no open wound, just dead skin to gently soak off, but thank you for your concern 😊
Isn't forcing the scab off going to cause scarring?
no this isn't really scabbing as such it's more dead skin and you don't force any that is stuck on. this is why you soak ..just to encourage what's loose to come off so the new skin underneath is free to heal
FinnTheInfinncible Cool. Got it.
+scooman and of course it was under instruction of my surgical team! do not do this until you are told to!!!!
FinnTheInfinncible Yes, thank you.
let me pick at itttt
I did have a little eewwwww moment but then recovered as you stroked your butt and seemed quite happy!! ;-)
Rockin' UK lmao!!!!!! yeah it was a kind of eW but epic moment!
They take care of u good in the UK it is terrible here in the us my husband has 2 disc that were herniated and they done surgery and removed part of the disk and he also hade trigeminal neuralgia and storm ligament and torn meniscus in the torn ACL in his right knee and his hip is giving him terrible time and they doctors won't give him anything for pain it's just terrible here the drug heads have ruined it for people that is in pain and need things to help him get through life how is it in the UK are they the same way there or different.
your hand is swallen I presume from the bandages? will it go down when you take them off?
it's just because it's a graft. they take a while to right themselves and stop swelling. I just have to keep massaging it and elevating it. will take a few months before normal circulation returns
Drew are you an R.N?
No he's not he's just a really quick learner with a wonderful heart!
I suddenly have taste for bacon, lol looking good !
lmao!!!!!!!!!! thanks mate!!!
That was fun. Your very cute btw.
Thank you very much!
JUST PEEL IT !!!!!!!!!!!
Lmao! It had to be done very carefuly!
I know! I just was wanting to see that big huge piece come off at once!😂
@@TheOffender000 I loved doing this!!!

It was both awesome and gross!! Drew isn't grossed out by anything! He loved this!!!!
Having to touch a wet scab 😖
Yeah it was pretty icky!
Snort ....That's my bum ...PMSL
+Spence Over The Fence pah ha ha ha!!!! it was a sudden remembrance!!!
your hand is swallen I presume from the bandages? will it go down when you take them off?
it's because it's a graft and because they took an artery and two nerves. it will take a while for it to learn how to properly circulate again but eventually it will go down
+FinnTheInfinncible oh right they take the artery out as well I forgot that. makes sense than yes.
Yes it's huge surgery so it's doing really well considering!
yeah, I know, you are healing amazingly well. no infections as I understood, which is great considering how easy it can happen. and usually it does which is why I am kind of scared of phallo... metoidioplasty seems like a better option. but I am going to have to do some proper research at some point about both of them.
