that's awesome, suzuki has always been my bike of choice, I've got 3 old school bikes, 1982 GS1100 built, 1985 GS1150 built, 1983 GS1100 mild build I'm 60yrs old and still love racing 1/4 miles Mad Respect to you and your crew
Congratulations Chris Moore!! If I only had the cash to put one in my stable!! This man knows motorcycle drag racing and he knows how to flash and tune a bike! I personally know because he tuned my bike and dide an amazing job! Best money spent!! Good job and kill it in Cali!!
Okay, three things. First, HOLY SH!T! That thing is a freaking MONSTER! Second, you should GPS top speed that S.O.B. I bet the number would be insane. Third, maybe when Suzuki see's it in action it will push them to finally make a turbo or Supercharged Busa. The H2 Family of bikes are kings in the world of stock and bolt on's with a flash but as you've shown in the world of bikes as a whole the Turbo Busa is still god. Just Wow!
This bike has gearing changes for drag racing, the bike isn't built to go fast, its built to be quick and yes there is a different, you can be fast, but how quickly are you "Fast"?
Suzuki been seeing turbo busas in action its nothing new. A lot people say they want a turbo busa but reality is, the sales would be low cause it's gone be 25k to 30k bike. H2 sales aren't high like that. When people ser my H2 they always say I haven't seen many
Yes, However it's not geared for "Top Speed" Runs as stated by the gentleman above, its geared for 1/4 mile drag racing (It may have stock gearing but I HIGHLY DOUBT it) When i say its geared for drag racing that means this bike will be redlined banging off the limter much before the bike has reached "Top Speed" Top speed amd drag racing are TWO WAAAY different things
need a HTP / chris moore special edition to sell at dealership make 20 + first batch of them -sell all around world . Suzuki be game .. have one in all show rooms ..
BOOM 💥💥💥 Moore Mafia & HTP Racing showing how it's done. Great job Chris, and Cecil on the build and tune up. Do you have any further goals to achieve on the Hyperbusa project? Maybe a Land Speed record (Texas Mile) for road legal bike? 😊
I say mile n hrrr I also say mussurah Moore Mafia deserves to be crowned king Hayabusa by Suzuki themselves. They should construct a statue to forever capture the glory of Moore Mafia in his greatness God I love that fn bike My first bike was a 50cc Suzuki 1970s TS gaucho as a kid. Unbreakable. Had an extra overdrive 5th gear. Popped up every gear. 65mph top end. Survived my brother running it on kerosene... screamed like a banshee. Crazy capable. I rode that thing everywhere I went from a tricycle to that thing and didn't switch up till I was 15. Was crazy fun. Still runs today. Love Suzuki
That's awesome, 1st time out 200+ , congrats to you Chris and the whole HTP crew ! Kountry and my own best is also a 9.07@155 on a not quite yet to SuperStock spec 14R but I'm also that lightweight skinny guy LMFAO😂
Mooremafia about to take over real street class. This is such a beautiful bike! Congratulations on the passes. HTP really knows how to put a bike together
Real Street restrict the use of aftermarket components and require the retention of the OEM components, so in other words that bike wouldn't qualify for real street.
@@perfect478 it allows aftermarket parts as long as they conform to the rules for example Transmissions: all entrants must utilize an OEM-style shift drum, shift forks and transmission. Shift drum must utilize unmodified OEM cases. Transmission components may be modified or replaced with aftermarket components of a similar design and function. The last part of your statement says they are discouraged not illegal. Just like stretching is based on the rider’s height. And ride height can be lowered but they have rules on that as well.
Basically yes. These shifters generally actuate from air pressure but you set the rpm you want it to shift at and the signal is then sent to the shifter valve and the ignition coils simultaneously to cut spark for a split second to unload the trans to allow the shift to happen
I have a noobie question. Is the timer for the run based on when the light goes green, or from when you pull away? For example, if you miss the start and pull away a second or two later, at what point does your timer start? The reason why I ask this is that often it seems that people are mostly racing themselves and not the person in the other lane, so i wondered how important it is that you go on time.
Timer starts when you leave the line. There are two laser beams that shoot across the starting line. One beam is to light the pre-stage light (that's the first yellow that comes on). The second beam is 7 inches away and it lights the stage light (the second yellow). Leaving as close to green light being on as possible is only important in competition.

Bike wouldn't meet real street specs...likely impossible to hold that kind of power on a stock clutch.
Real Street restrict the use of aftermarket components and require the retention of the OEM components, so in other words that bike wouldn't qualify for real street.

The clutch would not allow this bike to compete in the real street class even though it can be ridden all day every day.

Auto shift? So some rpm-signal is triggering your pneumatic shifter thingy, probably right before the rev-limiter?
Basically yes. These shifters generally actuate from air pressure but you set the rpm you want it to shift at and the signal is then sent to the shifter valve and the ignition coils simultaneously to cut spark for a split second to unload the trans to allow the shift to happen
