So I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here.
These things are progressively getting more alive due to some plot
But because of how these things move, time for them moves like 24 times slower. So the hand that came into shot was real time Cranbersher notcing the puppet about to fall off the table.
Meanwhile when IRL Cran is interacting with the puppets hes working through a medium, say the camera, at one twenty fourth the speed of real time.
So while drama is happening on the table, it may be 10 seconds for a puppet
But that's like 4 minutes for Cran?
Idk this is very rough I'll make an edit or something when I think this through more
It’s a very good video, but Im not sure where I’m more lost at; how fast should these emotions should go in editing, or the story of your two self-puppets

as an aspiring animator i found this really helpful! thank you :D
one thing i struggle with is animation style, i'm not sure what "Overshooting" is or when to use it.
So I went on the secret page and looked everywhere, but all I could find on the page was some numbers in the top right that were counting how many times people have been on the page (0000551) and at the bottom "Thank you for the pleasant time. Please Stand By." (This is because I messeged him via email when it was still there)
I wasn't happy with this, so I went around the ordinary website, admiring Oliver's art and looking around every nook and cranny, and then I noticed something. When I highlighted the dark and scary bottom part of the page, some secret letters were hidden.
One or two letters and it's on every page except the secret page (I think). There may be an exception though, because under the guide page, there are three letters and it just says "now." I'm not sure if h̸̛̖e̷̝͘ meant for this to be part of the secret letters or if it's a goof, but I added them anyway.
The only words I thought were relevant from these letters I've unscrambled were "Unknown" and "Gonif" (which means theif).

Some might say that “WOW! I have to be super patient for the entire guide to come out!” But actually making the episode takes 10X the patience depending on much ‘fun’ you’re having while making it.
Looking at both puppets, it's like one of those 2010/now Art Comparisons I see on DeviantArt. The right one actually has feet and it does look like he's wearing jeans.

Obviously, I wanted to know more, so i asked *why do you need us to live?* and they replied, *I am unfinished.*
but from what we've seen both of the Bershers are very much full puppets, so the only thing i can inquire is that the halloween videos are later down the line and show the New Bersher, deteriorating, saying that they are broken in the first one, being more destroyed in derelict, and almost a puddle of blood in overwrought, Im honestly terrified to what comes next. so something broke New Bersher down and it is up to us to finish him and fix him.

I have a character with no mouth, and another with one eye. (He’s not a cyclops he just has an eyepatch)
Emotion can be hard with the first one because the mouth has a huge play. But if anyone else struggles just remember to exaggerate body movement and eyelid movement.
For the one with the eyepatch, it’s easy to use him because he still has an eye in a mouth, the lack of one eyebrow doesn’t make it much harder.

This video is actually really useful just to learn how to convey emotion properly on my face - I don't even animate, I'm just autistic and need help emoting effectively :)
I’m using felt armatures on a project. How do you fix the brows and mouth to the armature, I was thinking I could use the angry side of Velcro but fear it will mess the felt up.
When animating, do you have any tip on how to keep the character in place while you switch out these delicate pieces (eyebrows, eyes..etc.)? I have trouble with keeping them still for the next frame.
You should work in a M.A.P episode with Jaiden Animations. I would love your segment.

You know, while the intent of this series is technically for stop motion, these particular videos can be applied to other forms of animation as well. In fact, I'm thinking of using these kinds of tips for hand-drawn animation!
