ROB ROY Burial Site | Scottish Heroes

  • Let me take you on a DJI Mini 2 flight over and around the ROB ROY Burial Site near Balquhidder.
Rob Roy MacGregor was a respected cattleman who lived in the area 3 centuries ago. Near his Burial Site, and through no fault of his own, he was branded an outlaw, and his wife and family were evicted from their house at Inversnaid, which was then burned down. After his principal creditor, James Graham, 1st Duke of Montrose, seized his lands, Rob Roy waged a private blood feud against the Duke, both raiding his cattle and robbing his rents.
Rob Roy is buried beside his wife in son in a tiny churchyard in Balquhidder, near Stirling. Here we see a close-up of Rob Roy's grave - burial site - and take a flight to see a 'drone's eye view' of the beautiful scenery around the area, including Loch Voil.

    Hey there Robert 👋
I'm a 15 year old English and Belgian boy who lives in Laos, Southeast Asia. Your videos have been one of the most valuable resources on my journey to find a drone for me, and thanks to you I got to learn about the limits of the Mini 2, advantages, drawbacks, etc and mine is arriving in the mail sometime next week.
Thank you so much for putting your wholesome content out there and being such a great creator

I was able to take this trip because of the generosity of so many of the subscribers and members here and I am so grateful to everyone who supported, and continues to support me to get out and about. From Rob Roy's grave, I headed to Glencoe where I took some amazing footage. That video is in production and will be on the channel for you to see later this year :)
