Regine is a risk taker even before! At her age we are still lucky hear her sings. During her interview last year she said that her voice was not as reliable as before but during her younger years even though her speaking voice is hoarsed when she sings it will gives you a blast! I think during that performance she was very nervous thats why she becomes slightly pitched and her acid reflux manifested due to adrenaline .. I know she will going to sing this again .. I used to sing before but my confidence now is not really good because i think i'm not good enough. But because of this reaction video and i try to duet with u with your vocal coaching i feel that i miss singing again. No one can defeat her even she's 50 through International and local competition though, And what I really admired her, She'd never use tricked and disappointed on her performance compared to other singers internationally (Mariah carey, whitney, and etc...) and locally. She has GERD (acid reflux) attacks that show up once in a while that's why her high notes here sounds coarse. Nevertheless, this is a very tough song that requires extra stamina and breath control that normally singers in their 50s won't be able to pull off. But Regine has kept a healthy lifestyle and made sure her voice stays in tip top shape with the exception of her acid reflux which is beyond her control. Thanks for this.
She never had professional voice lessons until just recently. The only vocal training she had was when she was a kid, her father train her by dipping her in sea water with her head above water level and let her sing. Just recently, she started having voice lessons. Maybe her new company required it when she moved.

On a side note, she had a concert where her voice totally broke. She lost her voice during that concert. Despite her condition, she continued the show and apologized to her fans because she cannot deliver. She later on rescheduled her concert for free and made a beastfull comeback. She slayed.✨
