I'm a retired inspector who sat through many of those safety vids. They should have issued a card with the test date. That card is usually good for one year. Safe travels.

I always wondered about what that plant was…thanks for sharing. I live in Navarre, not far from Pace. Always love having to “watch” the safety videos just to pickup or deliver…yes just a waste of time, if the alarms go off know where to go quickly.
I had to watch video like that and pass a test before being allowed in a plant where I serviced their ice machine. They gave me a sticker to put on my hard hat that was good for a year.

Dang man! A few of your past loads relate to the work I do. That’s a TracStar Fusion machine by McElroy. They fuse/weld HDPE plastic pipe. Remove the landfill you went to not long ago, HDPE pipe is used a ton in those types of jobs. Landfills, wastewater, etc. Heat the pipe up to melt each end, then push the two ends together and hold for a period time.
The Refinery I used to work at did the same thing . As a operator we had about 200 cat's each yr

I always hated going into plants have another wash their safety videos and take a little test or whatever.
Just a friendly hint, next time with a boat like that strap it down upside down.

Glad that you were able to fix your oil leak. Man that APU is causing you a lot of stress. If I was having continued issues I would spring for a Green APU and just get rid of that issue altogether.

Trouble with all GPS/SATNAV routes is they take you the shortest route, even if it's only by a foot, so it may not be the sensible route.

I forgot the initial issue you were having with the APU. Is it that you are not getting Heat? If so, is it a Heat Pump? If so, the fan should come on when when the outside coil freezes up. It probably should be on all the time though.

Now on why this video, I haul cement and fly ash in tankers and have to enter power plants where it is dangerous and you need to know in case of hazardous leaks, where are the red flags and where it is blowing and go the opposite way and other safety measures, all these measures protect the plant from suers in case something happens to you, plus they want to know who you are with all the info you wrote in training. Now on why this simple load, I pulled containers at one time and it looks to me that the broker is testing your company as a test run, if everything goes fine, this broker is going to contact you with Government sensitive loads. I had a load to pick up at a National Guard, the container weighed like 5 thousands pounds, a month later, our company had 10 containers from over seas of practice bullets for a military base up north, we made good money.

You handle a wide variety of tasks, and BS, pretty well. Harder work than the couple of 53ft dry van truckers I watch, who pull up to a dock and take a nap. Look at the upside. You won't die of obesity, and you get better paying loads more easily.
When you get old, you'll laugh about the dock workers playing a shell game with the tractors, the chemical companies giving you an engineering course, and the quiz about not harassing their workers. You'll forget the easy loads, and remember the crazy stuff. Like thinking you'd lift those truck fairings off by hand. Or swapping poo trucks around with another driver. You can't make this stuff up.
Next week, the human trafficking lecture and quiz. They will set you loose in a yard with 200 cargo containers, and you have to find the one with the hookers in it, while they scoot them all into a container you already checked.
