My favorite kind of videos are the ones that are real and help people (me) feel not-so-alone in the struggle. Usually I do pretty darn good taking care of my collection but from time to time I faulter and/or winter sets in, the house is cold, lighting sucks, busy with holidays, work, and a hundred other little things, then they suffer. This is a really good reminder of life happening and how it's important to prioritize. Not beat ourselves up, and to put together a collection that fits our way of living. Thanks . Love your videos. Congrats on graduation!!!
I'm 43 seconds in and I just had to come to say.. Your eye makeup is freaking GORGEOUS today. Teach me your ways, oh plant master, eye goddess supreme!
I appreciate that I’m seeing more and more people normalizing houseplant fatigue. I still love plants and will always want to have a lot of them around me and in my space, but sometimes they get neglected when I have more going on in my life, similar to how other house chores or self care gets neglected from time to time. It’s normal and not the end of the world. Plants go through ups and downs in their natural habitat too. It’s fine.
Thank you for letting us know that you too have plants going through rough patches. Makes me feel better about myself. Mine have been doing awesome for 2 years, until recently a few have suffered. I would enjoy a Q&A repot!
I definitely think a lot of us are going through this plant fatigue right now, probably for obvious reasons, so it's nice to hear plant TH-camrs and influencers talk about it. We can be pretty damn hard on ourselves sometimes, so it's nice to hear from others that we're not alone😊💚
Thank you for sharing your challenges. Life throws us some curves and graduating is difficult and scary. My best advice is breath, you'll land where you need to be. One thing at a time, 1 day at a time. You're going to do great!
I’m so happy to see you and Ashley talk about mental health affecting your plants and normalizing it (if there are more I applaud them too but you two are the ones I’ve seen talk about it) I was in a mental health facility for a few months and depended on my mom to take care of my collection and lost a decent chunk but I did what I knew was the right thing to do and it’s nice to see others who I look up to have a hard time with plants, and even have to throw away plants who died. Also having to downsize your collection because you’re not sure what you will have the time for is so relatable right now thank you for being honest!
Couldn’t agree more with you lutchia 😌 some plant doing ok some of them are not. And for the past few weeks lots of my plants are infected with mites and aphids which is totally horrible and make me burnout sometime. What i do is i just give them a normal care until i am filled with the plant chores mood 😂🤣
Sorry you are going through some things. I hope things get better quickly. Nice little plant tour! Your eye makeup is gorgeous! And your cat is such a cutie! I have an all black cat named Freddie 😁
Sorry you're going through a rough patch. Can definitely relate to plant fatigue. I've stopped at around 50 plants and that's just enough so I have time for other things besides plants. Btw your make-up is on point today!
Great video, I have been neglecting my plants for a long time now. Just started a full time job and I don't really have the enery anymore for plantcare. I do keep up with watering, but I gave up batteling trips 😢, It takes a lot of time spraying all the plants (which I did for a while but I still see some trips here and there).. Probably gonna buy some good insects to help with the problem.
Thank you for sharing your reality with us 💙 mental health is so important. Noone is perfect, noones plants are perfect. As long as you do your best, you always have room to get better ! Wishing you nothing but happiness ahead 🥰
Not plant related, but I love your makeup 💄! Your plants are looking so pretty and healthy! I would like to see your repot video! Loving your Hoyas, too. I just purchased two Hoya Curtsii, their little leaves are so adorable! Wishing you all the best!!
Around 30-40 plants is the maximum I can manage and make sure all in receive the best care and love I can give them. But I've few that not doing well they just hate me, even I've tried mine best.
I have that same pot you love and I got it from Kim’s Nature in Markham! I know that’s pretty far from you but if you ever make it out this way then I recommend checking there for the pot!

I was just about to comment the same thing!

Leca has helped me watering wise to keep many plants without feeling overwhelmed.

Me too! If my plant babies aren't doing well I feel like I've failed. We all need to be more gentle with ourselves.

I love that you show that things aren’t always picture perfect. Some times plants just go through a funk.
It's not the plants. She said she didn't water them enough
Sorry to hear you're having hard times. Stay positive and well. Thanks for showing Luni. 💚🐈⬛

I've saved so many Hoyas that seemed so dead, in a zip lock bag with moss. It works pretty fast.

Hai Lulu's morning,... 🤗🤗🤗
Well some of your plants might not be looking perfect, but your makeup looks amazing!!!!! 💚💚💚
💚💚
I'm holding at 40 plants. I have all the ones I want and focus on keeping them healthy. Not collecting . I have no interest if it's rare or not.
You look beautiful in this make up :*
Yes!
Don't worry, plant needs to be alone sometimes anyway it's their nature in the wild with no human interaction.
