It’s easy to watch this and want this final result via a quick purchase of a shared system, but wow this must have taken a long time to master :)

Great rhythmic piece, Caspar! Nice use of Echophon, too.

Wow, this is hands down the best modular video I've seen in my life. Plus the track kill too.

Thanks! Feel free to ask anything, and I might be able to clarify. But basically, it's a lot of cross modulation between the oscillators, so DPO osc B acts as a sort of kick drum. You can achieve that by using an envelope from Maths to modulate the pitch as well as the Fold on the DPO. I'm using one of the audio outputs from Wogglebug as a hi-hat or percussion-type sound, with a really short envelope opening the LxD. Tempi takes care of the rhythms, so I have 4 states (shifted manually from Pressure Points) that I can jump between that all have 6 subdivisions going to the output channels. And these also get shifted around with every incoming gate signal, so you can get a lot rhythmic variation there. Those gates go to a lot of different destinations. Everything ends in the Echophon which of course mainly acts as a delay, but I use the freeze function a lot, especially while tweaking some parameter, to get a weird loop of something going. Morphagene has a sample of a song I did a while ago, and is just basically playing along. You may notice that I plug and unplug a cable once in a while, and every time I plug it in, the DPO gets pitch information from the René to play melodic lines. I try to capture those sometimes in the Echophon, and then pull out the cable again to return to the kick/percussive sound. A nice side-effect of the Maths pitch envelope (to create the kick) is that when you plug in the pitch CV from René into the DPO you get this nice glide on every note. Almost sounds guitar like, I think. Anyway, let me know if you want to know something specific. Thanks for listening :)
