I thought both teams were decent but Englands physically in the front 5 just completely outmuscled the Welsh front 5
We are experiencing a crisis in rugby refereeing atm and nobody is talking about it, that absolute diversity hire from last night is not improving things.
No attempt at managing the game, terrible (if any) communication - but this ref has always been like this, and is only appointed because of the quota system (so many games for each country). The system did not work with referees in the World Cup, did not work in the 6N last weekend, so please - stop flying poor refs halfway around the World to mess up yet another game!
@@leplessis8179 I agree but I think the problem is widespread, I can't really think of a ref who I consider to be consistently good. It ranges from terrible to ok at best. One problem is that fans of a winning team don't want to call out bad reffing that they benefitted from, and the fans of the losing team are called sore losers if they point it out. If things are going to improve then people have to call out bad reffing, regardless of how their team did. I mean, the world cup final was just marred by controversy around a bad carding and we're still pretending that there's no problem with officiating.
I personally think that referees decisions should be looked at by an independent commission in the week, borderline calls are ok but if a referee makes say 3 or 4 really obviously bad mistakes in say a 2 year period then they should have their pay reduced and have to referee at a lower level of the game. If an international referee keeps messing up, now he can only ref premiership games, if he continues to mess up then he has to ref U20 and then u18 games, if it continues make him ref u16 games etc. I think there will be a much greater incentive for referees to get decisions right on the field if, as a consequence of getting things really wrong the referee's missus has to downsize the house, sell the car and move their kids into a worse school. I would love to see Angus Gardner or Andrew brace made to referee untelivised u16 matches for half of their current wage, that would be glorious.

Oh dear not Welsh by chance are you ! and what knock on are you lying about the only knock I saw in the highlights was the Welsh deliberate slap down at another England attack 🤔 that was rightly penalised !
That ref was shite in Aix en Provence last week as a touch judge, I hope she upped her game this week. RFU box ticking.

What on earth is that yellow for, he’s moving his arms out the way and trying to get them loose so he’s not obstructing play, another reason why women should ref the women’s game and men should ref the men

She was shite in Aix last week and that was just as a touch judge. The men’s game suffering because of toxic feminism (there’s only one kind), men not earning money because the RFU (funded by men) ticking boxes.

@@Leon71414 never said I did but she was horrific in this game, the rucks were like the Wild West and there was a lot of clear stuff she missed not to mention that whole “did you lie to me” bullshit, she seemed very egotistical and desperate to leave her mark on the game instead of just reffing
