The Drummers name is Fumiya Morishita and in my opinion one the best if not the best in Japan. He also has some drum only videos on TH-cam of some of their songs!

I have everything in physical form except the debut EP which is on iTunes and the live in studio show where they performed their live album in full. I've been getting into Unlucky Morpheus in recent weeks, and they are utterly magnificent. Yes, what you said about the orchestration - fantastic! What I really like about these live versions is that the drums are somewhat more in the background than the studio versions. I've been listening to UM on Spotify while at work, all day long, and it can be very tiring, even a bit tedious, having the same insane drumming song after song after song, especially because it's so prominent in the mix. So these live versions are fantastic, where the other instruments are more prominent, especially the violin. Not to mention Fuki's voice. Outstanding!

A few things about this video. You are correct normally a guitar would play the lead and not the violin, if you hear the EP version of this song it is the guitar. The lead guitarist is doing the growls in this video, that is because of his injury, so he takes a rest for a couple of songs and Jill play's his parts as well as what she normally plays. They also did this for Black Pentagram live as well, but Shirens arm is a bit better so he now play part of it. The song is about some one how has dies and re-awoken, Fuki sings from the human aspect trying to hold on to the humanity, Shiren is singing from the vampire side trying to get them to feed for the 1st time and be fully reborn. Also Angreifer in German means attacker. At this point I noticed you spelt the song name wrong. Jill and Jiniya do a lot of the playing off each other in solos, one of the best tracks for this is "Spartan Army" again there used to be a version up but got taken down. They sometimes do acoustic stuff at their live shows, there used to be one or two up, but again got taken down. For Christmas day 2020 they did a full 1 hour live acoustic set for the fans online, which you can still watch if you are a member of their YT channel. "Unending Sorceress" next for Ankimo. They just released a new album, "Evolution," last week. Super good, although I'm surprised Shiren doesn't do a lot of growls on it, so he must be back to doing more guitar, which is great. First single from that is "M Anthem" which has an MV.
Small correction, it's "Angreifer", which is german for "attacker" or "assailant", from the Vampir EP, it and Opfer (again, german, "victim") tell the story of a person turning vampire, and the struggle to either give in to the power or keep one's humanity. There's also "la voix du sang" (the voice of blood, french title this time...) and "Vampir" on there, it's quite storytelling and operatic.

Fantastic song. It's so atmospheric and shows just how good of a storyteller Fuki is in that first part. Shiren, the guy doing the harsh vocals, suffers from tenosynovitis, so he can't play guitar all the time. From what I can tell, this is something he's only had for a few years. I know he was part of Babymetal's Kami Band for one show, an early one called Legend I, where he played two or three songs. I believe I've already recommended "Unending Sorceress" to you, but one thing that you might find interesting is that there's a second video for the song, but it's a drum playthrough. They describe their music as Technical Speed Metal - and back it up song by song. The inclusion of Jill in 2017 changed their sound (of course!), but they all seemed to embrace it and Jill has become integrated as an integral 'part' of Unlucky Morpheus. If you want more Jill, you should check out the Quadratum version of Yngwie's Far Beyond the Sun, where Jill covers Yngwie and Jinya covers the keyboard parts. Hello German person here :D Angreifer could translate to attacker or assailant for example, among a few other possible words. It's kinda dependant on the context, e.g. in sports the offense could also be translated to something along the lines of Angreifer
