As a fellow Phillies fan, I appreciate you making a video with their realistic player attributes. Im always baffled by how underrated they are in the MLB games.
idk if you're into hockey at all but here is an idea: create a team of goons and make it so they have no hockey skills, no goal scoring or playmaking abilities but full stats in checking, fighting, aggression etc and see how well the team can do.
A YT channel did this, Aggression, Defense Awareness (I think), Checking, and Fighting Skill at 99 and the other stats at 36 (the lowest allowed), and won the Stanley Cup.
conversely, a team of 0 OVR skaters (or 36 OVR, since that's the lowest EA NHL will let you lower stats), but the team's goalies are all 99 OVR to see if super hall-of-fame goaltending is actually enough to carry a team of scrubs.
I think it would be hilarious to see if an "expansion team" could beat the record of this year's Oakland A's. The challenge would be to create team of players that are not currently on a 40 man roster and put them on the Oakland A's. Then see if they can outperform the actual Oakland A's.

In 20 seasons, they won the WS 17 times. I did have to keep bumping my created players stats up after each regular season. A few of them, the 6'6" outfield monsters (actual height of two of my friends), kept having their Left Pitcher Contact rating go down to the low 80s.
It never ceases to amuse me how simming the games will always put SOME degree of realism, or at least keeping the team's performance somewhere within the confines of Earth's exosphere, no matter HOW far you jacked all the sliders. Only when you actually play (and take hours off your life per game) can you exit Earth's gravitational influence (and the whole Solar System while you're at it.) ....And *none* of your pitchers could crack 2.00 ERA?? Bob Gibson's 1968 1.12 ERA is even more impossible than I imagined.
'Have to be agile as a cat and cunning as a fox'. Yes for like one minute total in the entire game. The rest is just sitting in the dugout chewing. (Pitchers excepted of course)

You do realize when you press y when in the calendar it sims through the date, instead of having to hit a and then scroll and hit a again, just saves time, idk how not everyone knows this

I maxed out 5 Marlins pitchers' stats in MLB Power Pros before starting a Season Mode run and won 10 world series with at least a few 162-0 seasons. I won the last world series with a pinch-hit ultimate grand slam. And since I chose the Marlins, the low salaries made me rich. Fun times
Just wanted to say I’m a phake Phillies fan cuz I don’t really follow baseball too closely, but I used to follow them pretty closely back in the day and I’m originally from Philly so it counts in my book. Glad to see them get some love, everyone trashes Philly teams all the time

Yeah, I have multiple perfect games, the strikeout record, and the record for most strikeouts in a row with just using legacy pitchers. But it is Ryan, Maddux, Glavine, and Smoltz. 12-0 so far this season with a 0.17 ERA

the game will crash because of how much goals are scored and the game cant comprehend that amount of goals/stuff that's happening all at once
