we got machines we invent and learn how to build that can stir the cement for giant holes to be filled with a balance of minerals liquids and anthracites trough trial and error at a particular fahrenheit so why can't there be some kind of mighty machine to fight feelings they're just feelings we got blueprints for rockets that defeat gravitation with combustion hydraulics and discrete calculations of where the karman line snaps and the soundwave convulses to blast trough gaps in the armor of the magnetic pulses like fists trough a screen so where is this machine to fight feelings they're just little feelings in boxes and tubes we fight the cold and the heat with square numbers and cubes to decisive defeat setting digital dials in fractions each can agree on in hot orange spirals or in winter green freon spewing atoms or ice or where do they have this device that fights feelings they're just stupid feelings just as the grand coulee dam merely begun as a dream one day a bike helmet cam grew from the era of steam so maybe some magic time constructions we're not aware of will just pluck through your minds just one more task to take care of can something help fight against this old patetic condition where i'm somehow defenseless just against words or a vision if they're so big and smart why cant they start making stuff to fight feelings they're just little feelings now that theres lasers and beams lets build amazing machines to fight feelings there's just a few feelings a few lousy feelings a few little feelings a few stupid feelings why can't they fight feelings
Thats the point. Since the Ben Shapiro main theme "Facts dont care about yout feelings", feelings are kind of an obstscules for governments or enterprises to introduce less social policies or laws. They say that they are just feelings, they try to underestimate feelings, so Jeffreys take on this is to "just destroy the feelings guys, if they are so tiny and insignificant", but actually they are really strong and unfightable. I mean, its not a general truth, but I guess that its his point.
Thank you Jeff.
Your words make life a little easier.
I’ve drifted from Jeffrey over the years. Time to come back.
so happy to see jeffrey on here
he was one of the first
Still wishing this machine existed in 2024.
Amazing. Outstanding. 😢
i know this is far far back, but please MORE JEFFREY PLEASE
Happy 43rd birthday jeff
the way the syllables fall into the measure with such complex yet conversational syncopation is so poetic....
I love Jeffrey, and I love this song 💙
so happy to learn that this guy has illustrated for John Darnielle :)
Can this be a 20 minutes longer?
Jeff! I've missed you!
we got machines we invent
and learn how to build
that can stir the cement
for giant holes to be filled
with a balance of minerals
liquids and anthracites
trough trial and error
at a particular fahrenheit
so why can't there be
some kind of mighty machine
to fight feelings
they're just feelings
we got blueprints for rockets
that defeat gravitation
with combustion hydraulics
and discrete calculations
of where the karman line snaps
and the soundwave convulses
to blast trough gaps in the armor
of the magnetic pulses
like fists trough a screen
so where is this machine
to fight feelings
they're just little feelings
in boxes and tubes
we fight the cold and the heat
with square numbers and cubes
to decisive defeat
setting digital dials
in fractions each can agree on
in hot orange spirals
or in winter green freon
spewing atoms or ice
or where do they have this device
that fights feelings
they're just stupid feelings
just as the grand coulee dam
merely begun as a dream
one day a bike helmet cam
grew from the era of steam
so maybe some magic time constructions
we're not aware of
will just pluck through your minds
just one more task to take care of
can something help fight against
this old patetic condition
where i'm somehow defenseless
just against words or a vision
if they're so big and smart
why cant they start making stuff
to fight feelings
they're just little feelings
now that theres lasers and beams
lets build amazing machines
to fight feelings
there's just a few feelings
a few lousy feelings
a few little feelings
a few stupid feelings
why can't they fight feelings
Very cool. Reminds me of the mountain goats. Maybe a bit more raw. Love the lyrics
amazing
This guy rules
great ! looking forward to seeing him soon!!😀
🐂💨💨💨💨💨💨💨
Dude in the end was in a swans shirt!
is this on spotify?
Comme le disait Georges Brassens : « si t’as un bon riff t’auras un bon son ! »
The machine is called drugs
J Lew!!!
Needs to drop more comix!!
Fucking loved
Strum pattern?
27 souless people didn't get it.
This is great! The recorded version isn't nearly as good.
I like my feelings.
why would I fight them?

It's called a gun.
This sucks
Just listen to his lyrics. The song is more about the lyrics than the melodies. Jeffrey is an amazing lyricist.
I disagree but I respect your candor
