Really good refresher video after attending the recent BTO Course on dabbling ducks. The duration of these at 6-7 minutes is perfect and they are very well narrated.
I love these videos. Yeah, the two scaup species are regular here in California and at certain places, they occur together. Red and Canvasback resemble extremes of the Pochard and we get a few Tufted Ducks here and there in winter but they always occur with Lesser Scaup rather than the similar Ring-Necked Duck. You mentioned hybrids, Tufted Duck X Scaup hybrids do occur here. Presumably, they involve Lesser Scaup.
Paco Rivera Z they DO😡! you are thinking about DABBLING ducks I know this because I am a member of the BTO, and the RSPB as well as the lady, you are so dumb they called DIVING DUCKS because they dive!!!!!
Yes they dive I've seen these birds in my area they are everywhere in the park I walk around or bike as well these birds dive what are you talking about I have a bunch of those birds near my backyard they do dive they do that when they are at my house near the grass I have a pond in my backyard I live in Yorba Linda California I see these birds all the time
SAD THAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T BELIEVE THERE'S A GOD WHO LOVE'S THEM AND WHO CREATED THESE LOVELY BIRDS AND EVERYTHING ELSE 😢🐣🐦🐶🐱🐄🐔🐇🐷🐘🐨🐒🐆🐼🐧🐋🐟🐝🐞🐡🍏🍊🍒🍓🍍🌳🍁🍂🌹🌻⛅🌄🌍
