- Discover the Triple Filter Test and unlock the wisdom of Socrates in this video. Find out if you can pass the test of truth, goodness, and usefulness.
Dive into the timeless wisdom of ancient Greece with our motivational video about the renowned Triple Filter Test. This profound lesson from Socrates, the great philosopher, offers valuable guidance on communication and integrity that remains relevant today.
In the bustling streets of Athens, Socrates was approached by an acquaintance eager to share some news about a mutual friend. Before the words could spill out, Socrates introduced a powerful concept that we can all learn from: the Triple Filter Test.
"Hold on a minute," Socrates said. "Before you speak, let's apply the Triple Filter Test to your information. This simple yet profound technique ensures that what we say is truthful, good, and useful."
Join us as we explore this ancient practice and discover how applying these three essential filters can lead to more meaningful and positive interactions in our modern lives. Watch now and transform the way you communicate!
So many problems could be avoided if more people applied this method.
1. Is it true?
2. Is it good?
3. Is it useful?
To me, the second and third filter are paramount. There's lots of things that may be true, but if they're not about something good, and they're not about something that will be useful to the listener, they're probably not worth spreading around.
I hope you find this comment useful :-)

This is why Socrates never found out his wife was cheating with his student Plato.
YeomanLocksly did Plato write somewhere that he had been sleeping with his mentor's wife.
Citation?
And what would have changed if he found out? Be wise!
That kind of truth may not seem good but it is good because socrates could be liberated from his cheating wife and it sure as hell is useful information
Didn't he have multiple wives anyways.
Yes it is true
Are you quite sure that you've passed the first test? If so you'll have no trouble indicating where in Plato's works this appears...
Who else is here from school
me
Socrates never said this.
It's useless😠😤
Why?
