Her friend here had finally talked her into going on a trip with her to get her out of New York for a while, Ivana was leaving the next day finally but this horrible accident happened, so sad.

Because the difference is that she was born poor, whereas they were already born wealthy. She talks about how she has done her best to make them just as grounded and tenacious as she is (by not giving them stipends growing up, by having them fly commercial while she and Donald flew business on the same flight, and other things like that); but it’s a real challenge not to raise kids that are a bit complacent, when they are born into such wealth, because in the material sense their lives have already been made for them; they know that if worst comes to happen their parents wealth will always be there to cushion them. At one point she tells this story about how once Ivanka questioned the whole flying arrangement when she was a young teen, and Ivana’s answer was: “Look, when you start making your own money you can use it to fly business, on our money you fly commercial!” 🤣 She was such a fire cracker! 😂

Not to be rude, but I thought it had been well-established that her being on the Czech national team was a piece of embellishment she had invented. I don’t doubt she was a good skier (everyone says she was terrific), but it is so odd that she still had her friends convinced (or at least pretending) that she was on the Olympic team.
I remember that ski ⛷️ story. He couldn't stand the fact that she was better than he and he left her and went back to the cabin. He can't stand losing. How well do we know that. She was better at business also. That's when they didn't stay together bc he wanted all attention on him. Lies, bankruptcy, and bank loans that he didn't pay became his game!
