I honestly love the fact that you make period videos and also that your bf isn't weird about it because it REALLY pisses me off when people make it seem like it's TMI or all gross and whatever. If you have a cut on your arm do I say " Ew that's gross " ? Yea period blood is a bit more slimey but eh... .you generally don't have to see it? But if we're in pain and want to voice it out and have cuddeling time or whatever and someone's like " Ew gross i don't want to know about your period " That really doesn't make you feel good at all. I honestly think men should get some more education about this in like sexual education class. Same with females learning a bit more abot typical male problems. Lets understand eachother more ^^

I’ve found that guys who are raised by single mums, have sisters or are generally just closer to the females in their families are the ones who don’t care about stuff like that at all. They’re often the ones sent to the shop for tampons and half a ton of chocolate once a month so by the time they’re in a proper relationship of their own it’s nothing to them. I’m sure there are exceptions to that rule and generally men who don’t care regardless of who they were raised by but more experience and openness around the subject (and of course having a choice between scary, angry, crying, in pain mum/sister and chocolate and hot water bottle calmed mum/sister) helps loads to make the whole thing a non-issue in my experience.

When I first got my period my mom bought cake and made my family celebrate it - when my best friend first got her period my mom made me get her a little gift for her. I was really embarrassed at the time, but now I'm so appreciative of it and can't wait to do it to any future young women in my life and show them that this is not something to be embarrassed of and while it is annoying, it's something we should be loud and proud of!

I thought everyone had to deal with 7 days 😭 but it’s bearable after 5 days.... day 1 (hell with torturous levels of pain ) day 2 ( Niagara Falls in Tartarus) day 3 (slightly less hellish hell) day 4 ( I can move yay) day 5 (okay can this stop now) day 6 (the end is in sight) day 7 (hallelujah) who else gets this??
Mine was basically like that. I started birth control two years ago and since then my cramps and the amount of blood I produced went down soooooo much. It also only lasts for 2/3 days now (like the actual bleeding), my mood is not as bad anymore and my skin got clearer.
Length of period depends on the person. Also if you have a lot of cramps track your period - if the problem is not hormonal, a lot of times it dietary. Cut out sugar, high salt and any crap food BEFORE you start your period. Also I stopped wearing tampons when I get my cramps and that actually helped A LOT. Now I only have cramps for about 5 hours the first day of my period. Otherwise I use heating packs and pain meds for cramps.

i’ve only got my period once so far, (cycle is still irregular) but haven’t had any cramps or pain.
I just love how the entire comments section is just girls going ‘my period is this length’ ‘mine has horrible cramps’ etcetera.
It’s honestly heartwarming, because we should all be proud of our periods, but also it’s fine to hate them because, lets be honest, they’re mostly just inconvenient.

I wish that people wouldn’t treat periods like a taboo. It’s something normal that happens to most- if not all- girls and it’s just blood. It runs inside all of us and when you get a small cut you-also see it. It’s not like you gotta see it on the surface anyways
Also- I don’t get why people assume girls are afraid of blood. We bleed every month for approx 40-50 years.

The most common length is 5-7 days. Another length variation that is uncommon but definitely not unnatural would be 3-10 days.
If your period is past 10 days (or even past 7) I recommend getting birth control if that option is available to you.

to anyone that has a period that is regularly over 9 days: please talk to your doctor. if your periods aren't regular yet and you occasionally get a long period, that's fine. but, if your periods are regular and are mostly over 9 days, you NEED to see a professional.

The chocolate is a nice touch ! You can try the Peppero challenge with Tyler (or anyone else), it's basically where two people bite from each end and try to eat as much of it as possible without it falling. It's a very common game in Korean variety shows :)

Honestly given that Cristine and Ben don't intend to have bio kids, she probably has something like a hormonal IUD that eliminated her periods for the most part. She definitely doesn't seem to deal with significant acne or bloating due to her cycle

Tabasom Moradi I know someone who used to pass out when they first got their period bc they also have a blood phobia. She’s said it has gotten a lot easier than it was when she first got her period in middle school. So it gets easier ❤️

It's supposed to be 3-7 days. But everybody is different. I sometimes have one's that last two weeks.
mine usually only lasts 5 days, so the number would be perfect for me, BUT THOSE FIVE DAYS ARE DAYS FILLED WITH PAIN, POOP, AND RED FLOWING RIVERS OF BLOOD. (who ever cared about "too much info". I laugh in the face of tmi)

I personally would benefit from this Variety Kit each month because I am like you, an unfortunate soul who was cursed with a seven day period, which lately has had the pleasure of showing up EVERY. TWO. WEEKS. So will I be ordering the, "THAT Time Of The Month" Variety Kit? Indeed I will. Indeed..... I WILL. I think I deserve the extra pampering with a cute kitty headband and some nice, pocky-like chocolates considering my poor uterus is being ravaged on double the shifts. Curse you, lady parts. Brittanee Maree Kathryn just so you know, you can get a medication that's based on stopping your period and will help you regulate it to once a month :)
alternatively you can go on the depo Provera shot which eventually stops your period, and the medication if you have heavy bleeding at first. it's honestly great apart from the fact it makes you gain weight.

I have a period app, cause they do ask when you go to the doctor, and it really helps when you have an event coming up and want to make sure your prepared. imagine going to the pool with friends and out of no where you stand cramping and the water around you starts to turn red
I don't, either. I just randomly go "hmm... it's been a while... i should probably start preparing" and then it comes and like 4 days later i'm like "hmm... it's been a while... maybe it's almost over" and then it ends.
and then I go to the doctors office and they go "when was your last menstrual cycle?" and i'm like "uhh... i have no idea."

I have a VERY irregular period... it comes when it wants to, goes when it wants to.. it has a mind of its own like sometimes I'll have it 2 days then I'll stop for a day or so then have it again then won't have a period for like 2 or so months 😩

Mine are 10-15 usually but they're not monthly, they're irregular due to PCOS. I'm on like cycle day 407 so I've been pmssy for a whole fucking year and I'm done, I went to the gynaecologist for period inducing pills. Period subscription boxes are a fantastic idea but I can't commit to one and whenever I magically get a period it probably wouldn't arrive in time and then it'd be sat in the cupboard for a year like my unused menstrual cup.
