Resident Evil has enjoyed consistent and widespread critical acclaim with games like Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village. But what does the future hold for the survival horror franchise? That there will be many more Resident Evil games in the future is obvious, but what exactly can fans look forward to?

What the Resident Evil series need is a remake of Resident Evil 0 and 1 to build "reboot Wesker".
What I want to see is a remake of Dino Crisis or failing that, a HD remaster minimum of the Outbreak games that fix the problems of the original PS2 games.

I would be a writer one day and I would write down scripts and other things in each resident evil title to make them lore accurate and scare accurate and most of the stuff were from the resident evil comics since they were a large portion for the people who were introduced to the very first titles as it was for me too anyway nice video

Both Code Veronica and Zero could both do with complete reimaginings in my opinion. Both of them were SUPER corny story-wise and had bizarre and unlikeable characters like Steve and "Trenchcoat Opera Singer Man." I would love to see reimaginings that tone down the corny-ness and tell better stories.

You really don't want to overdo the remakes imo (Remake Fatigue).
So, I would personally hold off on Remakes until the demand reaches fever pitch........Example, Starfield is not a bad game. However, Fallout fatigue set in after 4.....which many people receive poorly despite being a good game.
5 will do well, as it was the best selling single reelase ttitle of the series. The Co-op factor could have this remake being the best selling once again.
