- Today I check out a mod that makes Car Mechanic Sim 21 feel refreshed and more lively! If I wasnt already hooked on CMS, I definitely am now!

There are so many things you can do in the QoL mod, I can tell by this build you've not discovered all of them. It is truly a game changer and opened up a legitimate customizing scene in regards to CMS 21. Look forward to seeing what you create once you are more familiar with all that QoL offers.
Definitely want to try and figure it all out! I'm surprised theres more I haven't seen. Also looking at adding other mods like this too! And I wouldve had another video out by now, but one I recorded did not come out right. Being redone soon!
@@deblinedrifter TK Aftermarket is pretty good too. You get battery trays, battery tray brackets, and battery tray rods to keep your battery in place. It's got a lot of other aftermarket parts too, though. It has a lot of parts for an I4 engine.
I'm a fan of Hurst Quayzar. I mentioned to him the Quick Shop mod. There is one for the Engine Stand too. With quick shop, you just press a button (b and n default) to buy the highlighted/ghosted part. With the engine stand mod, you just hit F5 and it will buy every part, even buying the performance part, if available. 2 more great mods.
Also, there is a setting in the QOL config to make the junkyard spawn a car at every possible spot.
Hey! I'll look into those! That sounds like a huge time saver. 😂 And I need to look into that. Ive had it a couple times where theres only like two cars in the entire junkyard. That would be helpful!
Best way to make money is building the McLaren F1's. Once you build one and sell it, you can easily build a few more to sell and won't have to worry about money anymore. If you end up getting lower again just find one either at the junkyard or even the auction and will still make money. Heck if i remember correctly, just buying it, washing it and doing the welder to fix up the frame, you can make a good amount. Those F1's sell for over 14 million if i remember correctly (unless they changed it since i last played).
Some people don't like doing this but if you're like me and just want to buy any car and just build them like you want, that is the way to go if you don't want to worry about money. Personally sometimes i take jobs for fun and 100% their car with full performance parts just for fun (not on jobs that want performance upgrades since they only want a certain %).

I love the game but it soon becomes very repetetive and tedious, wish there was more content or some sort of MP added. Build with buddies, or some sort of build competition
I know! I wish there was an MP! Even just a co-op. See who can build what with a budget or something similar.

enjoyed the video..... where do I go to ad/download the mods for the engine stand and paint everything chrome mods.
Those two can be found on Nexus mods. You'll need an account, but its free. And you will also need MelonLoader. They are fairly easy to install.
Would consider the game if there were more interaction with the car.....something like manually sanding and spraypainting. To have it done automatically takes all the fun out of restoration. Hooefully a mod comes out to make it possible.

what mods do you have for all of those cars like the mustang and the f1
You can find them on the Steam workshop, IF you have the game on PC. They arent on console unfortunately.
I cant get it to work.... i loaded melonloader, installed QOL, melonloader starts the game and says QOL is loading but doesnt come up in the game and doesnt even generate a config file....... any ideas???
I heard installing an previous version of ML may help, as i think the newest one conflicts with QoL

Yeah, i do that a lot. I used to do it to save money for other parts, and just got in the habit of it. Something I need to stop doing lol

It actually is. Make sure you installed the latest version of it. I did, and it allows me.

I used to do that, but after I started to paint the body before putting the engine in, i got used to putting it back since it would go back anyway.

@@deblinedrifter no as I don’t use all the locations at once at the moment I just use them for photo shoots hoping to upgrade my graphics card and memory soon so hopefully can run em all at once

unfortunately for playstation and xbox using mods is against their terms of service so mods will only be available for PC
Yeah, what Mike said. That said, building a pc can be pretty affordable and you could play this at the same resolution as a Series X or better.
Sell your console and build a pc you won't look back trust my consoles are boxed up never to be touched again
it's too bad modders never finish thier job. making a swap like this, without adjusting all parts is stupid. i spend hours to adjust them, to avoid seing the engine parts under your feet in the cabin, choosing the correct exhaust , the good scale, changing positions and sizes etc.. you cannot just put a v8 and add a swap option for the v12 on the same car. you have to make a total different config, without swap options, exclusively for the v12 as none of the parts fits! these modders are too lazy. or too young.. or both lol...
