such a simple technique but I will save this just to review when I tie parachutes! Good Job!
You should make a video on beginning fly tying! Like what to get to start out and such! It would be extremely helpful!
subscribe to there channel if u havnt..go into playlists and they have 58 videos under tying techniques that go into everything and anything for for someone wanting to tie flies..one of the most informative tying channels out there..you should pretty much know what you need to get started..vice, bobbin and scissors will allow u to tie thousands of flies with just those 3 things..
@@termite122 there are 2 channels that I have found extremely helpful, tightlinevideos and Barry Ord Clark (The Feather Bender). Between the two there isn't anything they have missed!!! Although tightlinevideos usually breaks everything down a bit better, Barry is quite knowledgeable too. Still both great channels though!!! Thank you @tightlinevideos for all of the tips and expertise!!!!!¹
Thank you for the video
What about using zap a gap
That would not be a "Traditional" method but it will be a method shown later in this series.
tightlinevideo ok is it snowing in NJ cause it definitely is here
also have you tied a similar seal leach with angora goat?
I wouldn't recommend using zap a gap or anything like that. It makes the post way to stiff and I have never seen any tyers or tying videos that suggest or recommend using any of the "super glues". The only time I use those glues is when I want to anchor lead wire to a hook shank or use a small dot to secure eyes on a streamer.
william thurber thx
How to wrap hackle around that post could have been included. I'm sure that would help a lot of people.
That will be coming in a later video. It's difficult to fit everything into a 1 minute long video. The idea is small bites of information at a time as opposed to anything comprehensive. Please check our tying videos for complete procedures.
