The actors, who played Brenda Walsh and David Silver on the hit '90s teen drama, recall alleged dust-ups on the set, including when Shannen was reportedly fired in 1994 after four seasons. Jenny mentioned Shannen lifting her skirt up on Andy Cohen but Jenny never mention her pulling down people’s pants 🙄 she can dish it but can’t take it, even Tiffany Thiessen said the girls weren’t nice.
Sad but true. Shannen really got the raw end of the deal back then when in reality she was actually the nice one of the girls.
Oh, Shannen has admitted not always being so nice, lol. But I really think most or all of the girls were probably catty at one time or another. That’s just how young girls are.
And yeah, I saw Jennie’s interview on Watch What Happens Live as well & she definitely left that part out about pulling people’s pants down! So I agree with you, that was a jerk move on her part. Most grown-ups are mature enough to take responsibility for their part in conflicts, but I guess not her? Or her memory is veryyyy off. 😆😆

btw for Tiffany i ❤ her( not her character.or kelly in savec by the bell)and i agree she KNEW and felt there was mean girls on this set..See, another actress from 90210 who always has seemed mean to me(she was in buffy too.i think susan in 90210) said she wasnt getting along with tiffany at all(she TRASHED her on radio)that she heard Tiffany didnt seem to like her etc..but nothing REAL: tiffany neber said anything directly to her so I guess she was less a trouble maker than many of the other girls(creating problems caise "they've heard somthing"lol ,and trashing her...i see Tiffany as the classiest one in all this..she even cooks n likes wine😉classy👍)
@@moviefan4life166it cant be true(sorry to disagree but im just telling you ok)look ,3 things 1) the lifetime movie has been made by pple knowing more of the story,behind the scenes,and shows her as bad, even the crew/producers hating her, wanting her out..not just the cast.2)Jason P. wrote a mean things she said in his book(so he didnt like her even after she was fired) 3)there was an old show from darren star(same,he knew more than us) caricaturing the show and hiring a lookalike to be the mean mean meaaan girl. diva on set, friends bit mean with Tori(same that what some heard)... 4) why fight with alyssa milano too,on ANOTHER show.it was a second chance and again..catfight. she even trashed the show "only for kids, immature blah blah blah" after..so the nicest human being, impossible. oh, on her reality show she was mean too to a bf. but that could be scripted(then why play the mean girl??)
Poor Shannon. She just didn't deserve the stress and abuse. I'm glad she's found peace and knows how to going out with a bang. She's just so amazing and I will never find a way to watch anything she acted in without crying 😢
I love Shannon. Her and the whole cast were a huge part of my childhood. Then I got obsessed with Charmed as a teenager. I still have the Charmed DVD series. She's such a strong, positive lady with her horrible diagnosis ❤❤❤
I hope Shannon has Tiffani and Kathleen on her podcast

I always liked Kathleen Robertson on there. It was lame they put her with Steve tho. Her character Claire was one of the few that had some common sense and called out how borderline incestuous their relationships with each other were.

Their experience with her wasnt wine and roses. Big deal. If anything I appreciate Jason's honesty. Jennie seemed like the actual "mean girl" from what I heard.

She probably didn't. Shannen always blames someone else for her poor behavior. It's never her fault.
Well as been noted, Jennie had an interview and brought up that situation but didn't mention her part of what she did but seemingly put all the blame on Shannen's behaviour.
So while it can be deemed that Shannen doesn't seem to take any responsibilities for her actions, the same can be said of Jennie.
As has been pointed out it was an issue for the female side of the main cast particularly the younger ladies in perhaps there being some kind of rivalry between them.
However because it happen again with Shannen on her next AS project (Charmed), well she will be the one seen as the difficult and troublemaker even though there were still issues with the female cast members after she left and it coming for the newer female cast from the longer standing female cast in particular Jennie.

They did her wrong, jeez, having such castmates as JG or even TS you really don't need enemies. Feel sorry for her, press in the 90s and her co-stars always painted her as a villain when they should've look in the mirror to find one. Show bizz is so rotten. Good for Brian for having guts to stand by her.

Yes, Shannen's downfall is part of her doing, BUT it's also part of her cast mates - particularly her female costars JEALOUSY because Shannen has the LEAD role.
But I'm glad they were able to reconnect and work together later.
it's interesting they are so close because they didn't have a ton of 1 on 1 screen time together. at least from what I remember. both great as their characters.

I’m sure there could have been SOME justification for her firing (or at least they thought so at the time), but for the press to make her sound like a monster or something is ridiculous. I hate how a person can be going through a tough time, and their name gets dragged through the mud forever more. I really like Shannen & I hope she’s able to keep this nasty disease at bay…cancer is so awful. 😢
Jennie and Tori wanted to be the main female cast members. Shannen AND Jennie both had problems with other female costars. Even Tiffani and Vanessa had said Jennie wasn't friendly or welcoming when they had gotten hired.
And Alyssa, and whoever else. It can't be everyone else's fault. It's time Shannen owns it!

From 90210 for lateness. In season 4 she had an ill father who was very sick and a really bad short lived marriage to a guy with an addiction. She was late a bunch of times and I think Jennie in particular made a big issue about it. Shannen said there was never any discussions about her job being in jeopardy and one day she was just let go. She’s owned responsibility but did feel pretty badly burned about what happened and wished she could have at least had a discussion to warn her, one more time and you’re done. On charmed, Alyssa was insecure and viewed Shannen who was the lead as competition and threatened to sue if they didn’t fire her. The theme here is that some women can be pretty mean it seems. The crew and cast of Charmed all really liked Shannen but the leads all had very negative things to say about Alyssa.

Funny thing about charmed Alyssa was the sexy one and with the new writers they played that up Shannon was unhappy Aron Spelling talked with her and let her out of her contract cause Alyssa was saying it either me or Shannon. But Shannon still got royalties from charmed. Also to keep Holly Maria Combs they gave her a raise cause she was going to quit due to the bs and made her a producer. And yeah they said they were besties like most stories go and brought Rose McGowan and you know the feud that her and Alyssa have. There are several people who have bad feelings toward Alyssa due to her attitude and her relationships she had and help in breaking up of relationships so . But Jenny Garth and Tori Spelling have a rep too of not being nice girls either from little stunt that daddy covers up or the other blonde is so jealous of other girls she make their life miserable on set. That Luke Perry has to tell the new girl ignore the itches over there. So Shannon no Angel she head strong and always had been but she has a good heart and if you pull her aside and talk to her about issues she would try to make them right . Like BAG said there was a lot of sexism and a lot of playing the females against each other, and a lot of it was immaturity you had all that plain hand, but that can be just theories or could be security guards talking to each other
Kind of ironic to talk about sexism while Jenny Garth is pulling people's pants down. Somehow I don't think that would have been ok for a male cast member to do
Shannen's cancer diagnosis doesn't exempt her from her toxic behaviour. The fact that she was fired from several tv show's and has a beef with most of her former co-stars proves that she was always the problem. Even Jason Priestley exposed Shannen's bully behaviour in his memoir. Shannen is still bullying Alyssa Milano who hasn't said one bad word about her in 24 years... I wish Shannen well but it's beyond sad, cringe and embarrassing that she’s still rehashing the old drama in order to stay relevant. She needs to let go of her grudges and seek therapy.

It's getting a bit ridiculous how Shannen is blaming everyone else for behind the scenes problems. Tori and Jennie on 90210, Alyssa on Charmed. She doesn't seem to recall how the networks, producers, executives etc made women feel like they had to compete with one another and even with themselves making them feel they weren't pretty enough or thin enough, I mean, look how skinny some of the ladies are on those 90s shows. Shannen should also acknowledge the role she played in whatever conflicts existed. No one has clean hands in these kind of spats.
If you really listen to her Podcast, not just clips from entertainment news, she actually blamed herself for what happened to her in 90210. She specifically said she blamed herself for eventually getting fired from the show, not her cast mates. But I guess you didn’t listen to her Podcast. 🤷🏻♀️

Not so. Rose, Holly and Shannen all indicated Alyssa made the set toxic as f. Rose cried when the show was picked up for another season because of Alyssa. Alyssa even tried to befriend Holly to drive a wedge between her and Shannen and prevented Shannen from seeing Holly when she was in the hospital. Alyssa is the only one who won’t join the cast when there are sessions for charmed because none of the 3 leads want anything to do with her. Shannen is and always was close to Holly and very good friends. Holly was friendly towards Alyssa but has ended that friendship and has called Alyssa a liar publicly lately.
On 90210 Shannen was fired for being late. Jason confirmed that on her podcast. Shannen is very good friends with Brian and Ian and was with Luke Perry too and the two were going to do a show together. Shannen only had issues with Jennie that developed in season 4. Jennie was labeled as quite mean to Tiffani too. Shannen isn’t starting drama. She has plenty of millions and is not looking for anything than to tell the fans what really happened since they ask her year after year what really happened. But the ignorant people who know nothing go to every Shannen thread to bash her. Shannen has a solid relationship with everyone on 90210 now as well and did the series with them a few years ago. Jennie and Tori even said recently that they wished Shannen had stayed on and they were all just kids then.

She’s not the one creating drama. Everyone else is. I think she was amazingly good not to talk about this all this time. She has stage 4 cancer and is giving herself closure by telling the truth of what actually happened. I’d want to have that too.

Shannen Doherty is the most annoying person ever that always has a lame excuse for her poor behavior during her 90210/Charmed days. It's always someone else's fault. She pulled Jennie's dress up and wonders why Jennie got pissed. I don't care what Jennie did to the crew beforehand - that's between Jennie and the crew. She was wrong for pulling Jennie's dress up...period. She thought she was God's gift to the Earth and got put in her place. She's bitter about it 'til this day. Good grief she annoys me so much.🙄

Her toxic husband was just one of the things that were going on in her personal life at that time. She didn’t say she blamed him for her getting fired. She literally said “THAT’S ON ME” referring to her firing from 90210 because she didn’t handle the situation well, felt embarrassed, didn’t want people to look at her as a victim, and also for keeping it to herself instead of telling her costars about what was going on in her personal life. “That’s on me”. She should focus on positive energy. Isn't she getting it, that her sickness might be a karma! Just like what's happening with Wendy Williams too. Don't overlook the things you have done which hurt people too then play the victim of it all.

Well, it depends on the perspective, For her, maybe it's just a memory and now, about the disease, it's such an uninformed thing to say. Tell the thousands of people who suffer from different illnesses that it is their karma and tell the other people that they have done harm and are in good health.
