I hope Peugeot have addressed the many concerns on the 508 R8 brand. Firstly the out of line body panels, stop start issues, battery drain issues, software update issues, Sunroof vibration issues with the blind cassette, valve cover issues, door glass running out of line, & in the winter months the doors are hard to open as the glass welds itself the the rubber seals so the windows fail to drop the 5 to10cm to allow the doors to open. Wheel alignment issues from manufacture the set ups are all wrong. Paint defect issues are one of the main issues with this 508 brand as Peugeot have cut corners by applying less paint & lacquer to new builds which is just a shame. as my old 406 2.L diesel was mint but I had to scrap it because of khans ULEZ scam If you purchase the new 508 R8 I state don't get into an accident, as the front end will cost you around 6k plus to replace. Yes its a great looking vehicle from any angle you choose to look at it from, the cockpit is so cool night vision rear cameras, the leather seats are really cool in Red. But Peugeot should offer more of a choice like the do in the EU.
