What is wrong with this map?! Every time I see gameplay of clam blitz on this map it’s just a stand still no one scores until like overtime. This match looked so chaotic didn’t know where to look.

I just started playing splatoon about 10 days ago and I’ve gotta say I’ve had the most fun playing Tetra dualies, you’re also one of my favorite Splatoon content creators as well , keep up the great work !
This is really cool that your showing gameplay from someone who is insanely cracked with these Tetras. I'm not that great at Tetras, but they look really fun to use once you get the hang of them!
If anyone was wondering how long overtime could last in clam blitz, well this is straight from the wiki: “Three minutes of Overtime pass, in which the team that formed the most Power Clams throughout the match is awarded one point and thus a 1-0 victory. If both teams formed the exact same number of Power Clams, Team Alpha is awarded the victory.”
This map really does suck arse on clam blitz. This might actually be worse on clam blitz than Shellendorf but I digress, the jury is still out on that one. It's literally impossible to get a sustainable push because of that stupid catwalk in front of the basket.
Coming from a competitive background where dying for no reason hinders your team, you can see that his first 10 deaths probably where from nothing, like sure whatever he rushed in and is trying to do his job as a slyer weapon but theres no use to running in and not getting shots off and dying, he couldve sharked a bit to see that someone had zooka up, patience is still key here, idk i felt like he just died for no reason most of the time when he could be helping his teammates, i think ur way better than this dude lol
I can see where you're coming from, but I think you're forgetting one thing. Quick Respawn. If he was running no Quick Respawn, I would totally agree that this is a terrible way to play. However, Orion is running like almost 4 mains of it. So when he dies consecutively, it allows you to "feed" and be back in the game pretty much instantly. If a team knows how to play with a Tetra (which these top level players do) him dying a lot isn't really hindering the team at all. The only bad thing would be feeding like this when the enemy team is pushing, but that never really happened this game. Also, do note that Tetras are more of s skirmisher than a slayer. Orion doesn't shark very much, but I think that's good for Tetra. He told me that Tetras shouldn't shark too much because their purpose is to distract and enemies will also tend to expose themself if you're visible, letting you know where they are and being able to relay that information to your team.
I thought I was gonna be a tetra main, I have at 4 stars halfway to 5. but recently I've been using the splat duelies and for some reason I've been really enjoying it more than the tetras

What other weapons can play this hyper aggressive "get in and die" playstyle? I want to try it out but I'm just not mechanically good enough to use tetra
Tetra is pretty much the only weapon that does this sadly... thereoretically you can stack a ton of quick respawn on any slayer and play like this, but tetras are designed to play like this if that makes sense
This might sound crazy, but theoretically (I have NOT tested this) you could stack a bunch of quick respawn onto a carbon, splat, or flazinga roller and smack the enemy team around in turf war
Ok question, how is that math possible? The results screen at the beginning show that every player on both teams had more kills than deaths. The victorious team had 79 kills but the defeated team had only 53 deaths. My math isn't great but 79 != 53.
Good for you that you are happy with how you played with your weapon in one particular match where you got 22 kills. However, though you may be a good dapples player, the general consensus of top level players is that, at this level, tetras are a better weapon due to them having less weaknesses than dapples, fitting better into team comps, and generally working better in the current meta. Not to say that you’re not a good player or anything, but the gist of what I’m trying to say is no, dapples are not better than tetras.
@@Rootof-2 I guess it's much more a matter of my opinion, I've tried playing tetras and I've found their shots and dodge rolls are too slow and laggy for me to really chase people down
I play Tetra and I can tell you that few of us play like this The guy does the role of the tetra so well : go for it, do a maximum of kills before dying

I noticed sometiems QR players die without getting kill and the QR notactivating, why is that?

1-2 subs of quick superjump
1-2 ink resistance
Everything else is quick respawn.

I once got 22 K/A with only 7 deaths. Dapples are just better. (Nouveau specifically)
