How do you get the dogs to give something direct to your hand? My terrier cross loves bringing/carrying toys naturally but when she gets a foot away she drops the toy and comes in for the treat/stroke.

Sadly there’s no one answer to this question. If you’re really interested in cracking it, find a good Gundogs trainer to help assist 😊

Love the big Golden, he reminds me of my last two goldens ! My last one was from Westhide in Hereford , off a Mrs Fraser , all long ago now ! I keep saying ill get another dark working strain golden one of these days ?
